Pit Band

Well, I play the trumpet in my high school. I have band pratice every day, but its during school. I also have lessons once a week. This is fine for me. I like playing the trumpet, but I don't want to go into it as a career. When my band director asked me to join the pit band for the musical "The Music Man" I figured that I'd give it a shot. Now I stay after school three days a week 'til 4:30, playing really hard music. And now I find out that the week of the musical, I have to stay after school til 9:00 pm!! That means I'm in school from 7:45 a.m.-9:00 p.m.! I get tired and bored of playing from 7:45-4:30, how am I going to make it through all that? I like playing, but this music is so hard and I also have a huge research project to do due at the end of that week. I'm pretty screwed.

Ah, just needed to vent.
