Scatterbrained

Ugh. I hate trying to come up with a solid plot. It seems like all of my plots come to me in the same way. Scattered scenes that I get to play "jigsaw" with until my brain decides it'd like to fill in the gaps now. The book attempt I'm making right now is supposed to be mostly about the peculiarity of the characters, but I'm not finding an adequate situation to throw them into. The closest I've got is that they run a corporation. But what does it do? Why do run one? Who made the start-up capital?

It's going to be an interesting month.
