Terrorism.

  1. Terrorism. Something you hear on the news nearly every day. People of the same species, The human race, violently harming or intimidating others. Honestly it's a shame. Terrorists don't stop and think about what they're really doing. They're tearing families apart, emotionally scaring young ones as they watch their moms and dads, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandmothers and grandfathers, along with close friends being violently tortured or killed. Terrorists don't take the time and think.. "What If I was in their shoes? Would I want my family, friends, community and myself to go through something like that?" It's really a shame when you stop and think about what humanity is forming into. I mean why can't we just live in peace? It's something much rather prefered than living in constant worry over your loved ones's lifes and your own life isn't it? People say then why are you bombing other countries It's a give take situation. No it shouldn't be like that. You shouldn't be giving and taking at all, in that form. Then again all of this blog is just my personal opinion. I just needed to rant about it. My prayers go out to Norway victims, and their families. May God be with you.

I was shocked to hear about it. It was a camp for youth, also, so I can't imagine how upset and terrified parents are now, not to mention those whose teenagers were actually shot and killed. It's an evil, evil world. I have no idea what the killer would have to gain by doing that. It wasn't a traditional terrorist act (i.e. from extreme religious groups or from someone who had a political advantage from killing them). So sad and tragic.

Indeed. Police are baffled with regard to his motives. He has no apparent affiliations to any terrorist network. We will probably find out he felt like a nobody, and decided to become famous. Odds are he never planned to live past the events.

But, strangely, if he didn't plan on living past the events, why was this not a suicide mission? The whole thing is very odd. It's so very strange; if he wanted to commit some kind of murder scene in order to harm the prime minister in some way, this certainly doesn't do it. But then again, psychos don't really act rationally, do they?

I agree, I was very shocked when I logged onto my yahoo and saw that pop up. You NEVER hear anything bad going on in Norway. To me they've always seemed a peaceful country. Most of those kids in the youth camp are more than likely emotionally scarred. I can imagine what sleepings like for them now, or going somewhere, or even being in the "safety" of their own homes. Yes, this is extremely odd. But, also this "could" Be a traditional attack, considering that the person also bombed that building where I believe the Prime minister was located. all together it was a horrid thing to hear about. and no, Psychos rarely act rationally.. I'm thinking maybe this guy has some problems....

One of the members of my website is from Norway. He has been very upset by the attacks, I think more than I would be by such an attack in my country (Britain) because we're more used to that sort of thing. I've been seeing stuff on the news about IRA attacks and recently Islamist attacks, one of which (July 7, Tavistock square bus bomb) happened just one street away from my bus route (I'm a bus driver). If the bomber had been on his way to Victoria station instead of King's Cross, he could have been on my bus. Years earlier, the windows of my flat were blown open by the shockwave from the Canary Wharf bombing (IRA).
But the Norwegians are in shock at this, their first incidence of terrorism, and my friend Khaloth is grief-stricken. it's very upsetting.
