The Virgin Blogger

I've never written a blog. I always assumed it was like the digital equivalent of talking to one's self:

Fundamentally pointless and probably a sign that you need a good nights sleep!

Yet here I am, 02:30 on a Thursday morning (and Thursday of all days...what a ridiculous day!) with work in 7 hours and I'm writing a blog. I'm not entirely sure what I want to say if anything at all other than this will probably become an area to collate both my literature and personal thoughts over the next few days/weeks/months/years. As it seems I spend every waking moment increasing the word count of my novel at the moment, this will provide a change of scenery and certainly a change in writing style!

I should probably go to bed anyway. I've run out of Pimms which can't be a good thing :-S
