Where's the manual?

  1. Day one as a forum dweller. I have no idea what I'm doing. Just posted a hi, hello on the "new member introduction" thingamajig, and tried to post a short story, but I can't seem to figure out how. Oh well.

In other news, the first thought I had when rereading the story I was going to submit was, "Dear God, what if my mother sees this?" It's nice to know that I still intrinsically believe in God and my mother, and that they have become the top two bogeymen of my adulthood.

One of the mods should have posted on your introduction thread with a welcome and explanation of the rules here, including how to eventually post stuff for review. If not, you can read the 'Welcome new member: please read' page; the link is on the right sidebar. Basically you have to post like 20 times I think, and post 2 constructive reviews of others' work. I'm new too so I'm still working on that. So, welcome to the forums!

On top of the 20 regular posts and 2 constructive reviews you have to be here for 2 week before new members are allowed to post stuff for review.

I think you can even get around that by becoming a supporter. I noticed that after donating I was able to obtain (and keep) all of those privileges despite the site glitching and deciding to erase my Supporter banner thing. *Sigh*
