Why can't I have anything normal for a change?

  1. Okay, so I have patellar tendonitis, insomnia (not that that's weird), double jointed elbows (usually a good thing, but leave it to me to find something it would hinder me in), and, I thought, some simple asthma. I had to go to a specialist yesterday in my state's capital and apparently, I have exercise induced asthma (surprise, surprise,) and, (actual surprise) some kind of weird vocal chord narrowing thing, caused by (what do you know?) stress. What's worse is that I'm pretty sure my inhaler makes it worse, because the albuterol makes my heart race and I can breathe worse, rather than better. So anyway, I just thought I'd blog about it.

Dearest, have no fear. Bad things happen to those who have many good things waiting for them. Enjoy the part of this which is good (school's off some days, ha!) and never lose the smile on your face.

Damn! I am really sorry that things are so hard for you. It sounds really horrid and I know that things will get better eventually. I know at the moment it doesn't seem that way. But it always does. Believe me, I've been through hell and back quite a few times and have been living in hell for the last 18 months with my daughters health problems. And I can understand how frustrating it must be for you. But things will pick up eventually and it will help you to become so much stronger than you ever tought imaginable.

I know that it is hard to believe that it will ever get better, it feels like that all the time for me. But it does get better. With time and perseverance.

I'm sorry you have to go through all of that, Iulia. I hope you get better soon.
