Hello: My name is Al Fogel. I'm a retired 65 year old gentleman and reside in Miami Beach, Florida. I work strictly in the "Found Poetry" format. For those unfamiliar, a "Found Poem" is a passage of prose usually taken from a sub-literary source (ie advertising matter) and presented as a poem. The transformation usually involves rearranging the lines on the page, deleting words or sentences (but you are not allowed to ADD WORDS). The result is usually ABSURDLY HUMOROUS. I have about 30 founders that I created over the last year that I would like to post & share. These founders will be part of a book to be published in Jan 2011 titled "Extravagant Absurdities" I also had a lengthy correspondence (30 letters) with the late author Charles Bukowski (70s /early 80s) and have pub. 2 Bukowski checklists/biblios & also a recent Spoof titled "The Switch" published by Bottle Of Smoke Press.
