Hello, my name is Nicki. I love reading, playing video games, playing piano, listening to music, writing, drawing and getting wrapped up in the fandoms that are at least half mentally stable.

Writing, music and art have practically been my life for as long as I can remember. Since I was little, if you were looking for me you’d, without a doubt, find me with my nose in a book; whether that book was a coloring book or a story book. Fantasy books are practically the love of my life. Every book that I own (and trust me, there are a lot of them) has at least a hint of fantasy or even an allusion to the genre. Most people think fantasy and then think “Disney!”, I think “Brothers Grimm”.

My taste in music has expanded a lot over time. I like a little bit of everything really. I don’t like most rap and country tends to annoy me but as long as it’s partially decent I can stand it. I would tell you some of my favorite bands but there’s simply too many to list. Some that I commonly listen to though are Paramore, Falling In Reverse, Bon Jovi, Rob Zombie, Ed Sheeran and Marina & The Diamonds. But in quite the contrast to those I pretty much live and breathe musicals. I’m a huge theater fanatic and love to watch the performers in action. One of my favorite musicals is Into The Woods, it was one of the productions that sucked me into the musical genre; so it holds a special place in my heart.

Art is an extremely vague topic, it can mean sculpting, painting, drawing- anything that comes from the imagination with feeling really. But when I say art I mean drawing and painting. Now believe me when I tell you- I couldn’t sculpt if my life depended on it, and my painting looks like it was done by a 4 year old thrashing to hard rock music with a paintbrush in their hand; if that gives you any kind of image, I’m sure you understand what I’m getting at. Drawing though, I’m pretty good at. I’m far from an expert or a professional but I think I do a pretty good job. Drawing is a huge hobby of mine and I try to do it whenever I get the chance.

I’m a pretty awkward person in general so if my responses seem short or blunt please don’t think I’m mad or annoyed with you because chances are I just don’t have any idea what to say that doesn’t sound stupid.
