I guess I'll start with my name, which is Ben. I am a Science Fiction writer from the wet country of England. More specifically, Derbyshire.
There isn't much to say about me if I'm honest. I am a geek, I have an eternal thirst for creativity, and to be creative. I like writing, but I'm less than motivated to read a book. I especially love Science Fiction because it allows me to completely open my mind. I don't have to be contained within the boundaries of our society's beliefs, customs, and other annoyances. I can create my own world. A world of magic, flying spaceships, and convincing characters who will leave you feeling as though you've lost a friend when their story is over.
I must admit, over the years my imagination has resulted in me losing my grip on reality somewhat. I often believe things are real when they aren't. My father often says that I live in my own little bubble, which I think it partly true. I like to live my life in solitude, and I would rather not interact with people.
I leave a slice of my brain open for the tasks of a 1st world inhabitant. I work, clean, cook, and occasionally have a shower. Even though I act as any other person outside of my bubble, I always remain true to myself, and my beliefs that being a calm, passionate person is more worthwhile than being a judgmental, shallow one.Interact
