Lately I have found myself floundering as most twenty-somethings these days are; with a low paying job that I am overqualified for, a ridiculous amount of student debt and no real prospects for getting a job that relates to my degree in Women’s Studies (shock) any time soon. For a year or so this predicament scared me to bits but lately I have begun to look at it with renewed vigour. I have decided to make the best of this career vacuum and set off on a journey to follow my dreams of becoming a writer!

Somewhere between kindergarten and university, I lost the will to follow my dreams and replaced it with goals like making money, having a nice couch, and pretty things to look at in my apartment. Luckily, the economic climate I graduated in did not afford me those kinds of opportunities, so now I can throw caution to the wind and spend as much of my time as possible making myself a writer!
