    Well hai dere,

My name's Katie. I'm a fifteen year old performing artist. My passion lies in live theatre and film acting ... I'm okay, but I don't really have a lot of experience. I played a tough, redneck, knife wielding chica in a short post apocalyptic produced by a friend of mine (she's a filmmaker). I also extra-ed as one of the "dead girls" in short horror based off Goldylocks and the three bears (still in production). Most recently, I was the evil Queen Brangomar in a student production of Snow White, where I discovered my talent for yelling at people.

I've also played the piano for six year. I'm not THAT good but I love it too much to quit. For reasons I can't explain, I've agreed to sit my Grade 6 Royal Conservatory exam next summer. I must be even crazier than I thought.

Writing's what I truly excel at. I finished my first novel when I was thirteen. Not a very GOOD novel albeit, and I suppose it'd technically be novellas since it wasn't very long. Maybe that's why I only finished three of them :/

Don't get me wrong, I love those little novellas with all the passion I can muster, but I've found my real talent lies in screenwriting (and given I'm an actress and my best friend's a filmmaker, this works out well) I haven't actually been able to move one of my scripts into production, but two of them are planned for the coming two years.

I also do a fair bit of monologue and blog writing. I don't update my blog very often, but I'll let you know when I do ... if you care ...

Right, so there's the lowdown on yours truly. The non specific low down, but really, who's got time to write long bios?

Righto, see you on the forums then.
