- Favorite Writers:
- I have to first mention my favorite fantasy writers, George Martin, JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Terry Goodkind. Because of course. I also find myself enjoying certain celebrity writers, such as the amazing Tiny Fey, Russell Brand, and Amy Poehler. James Herriot melts my heart too. Other than that, I feel like I choose books based on word of mouth (from friends & blogs), plot, and sometimes even just the cover if i'm in a hurry to catch a plane or something.

- A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hobbit (not LOTR, although I loved them too- but The Hobbit has been a favorite since 5th grade and very dear to my heart), Crazy Rich Asians (hilarious & written by Kevin Kwan), The Dog Who Wouldn't Be (have you read it? No? Give it a shot!), The Sword of Truth (6th in a series by Terry Goodkind), and the many wonderful veterinary adventures by James Herriot.

Hi! I'm Lydia, or Phoenix.
I'm a 27 year old that's lived all over the US (NE. NW, and now Ohio).
I'm mostly cheerful, talkative, and enjoy making people happy, but I have my moods like anyone else. I can be very introverted at times.
I like to run around outside having adventures, and I also like to have a marathon of GoT (or whatever I fancy at the moment). I enjoy photography.
I have written since I was a child (i have an account on FF.net under a different name- I'll provide that to those interested, but it's old work indeed). I am now entering the self-published arena, and anxious for advice from veterans. I want to self-publish erotica, and I'm still in research/writing mode. I intend to do my own photography for my covers, too. I am hoping to make friends on here, and learn bits of wisdom that I can apply to my work. And hey, maybe I will impart some wisdom too- you never know!
