I graduated from the school of hard knocks, fled my childhood and had no idea that I would become a writer. I travelled a lot and spent several years in and around Australia although I was born in Canada.
I am separated from my wife who is in an assisted-living facility in a distant location. We communicate twice daily.
I left school after finishing grade 8 only. I was a burgeoning writer even then, I just didn't catch on to that immediately. I have attended college where I rounded out my innate abilities.
