New Konoiche

Hiya! I am a Film/Television Studies graduate student and although I would love to teach at a college level, my real dream is to create a television series and actually get it on air!

When I was in high school, I started (very, very slowly!) writing a novel about female superheroes called Konoiche (a corruption of the Japanese term "kunoichi" which means "Dangerous Flowers&quot. I have sense decided, however, that the characters are more fitting to a television series (live action/comedy-drama) than to a novel form.

Anyway, aside from an unpublished novel, I have also written a few (unpublished) screenplays and a one-act stage play that was performed and won an award. Currently, some friends and I are working on a stage musical. I have also worked on a ducumentary and am also beginning my graduate thesis focusing on mental illness in comedy films. Basically, I love creative writing in all of its forms!

Aside from writing, I also like cooking, movies (duh), skiing and hanging out with friends.
