This is my Introduction Thread to the forum. Nothing more needs to be said of this.

I've had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Initially it was the stories, characters, and dialogues in the video games I played that drew me into the world of writing. I based many short stories in elementary school on my imitation of these things, cute no?

Then I discovered Harry Potter, and other books later on in Elementary and became a lover of books from then on (though I still played video games, still do to this day). When I was in Middle School I read a lot of different things from my Library, and discovered a love for the Horror and Sci-Fi Genres.

In High School I took a more serious approach to trying to write using what I had learned up until that point, but I wasn't very good. It wasn't until I seriously stared seeking out writing materials on the internet, or purchasing books on the subject that my views and horizons on writing began to change.

It's been a few years now, and I feel that while I've improved greatly from then, I'm still not the writer I want to be - I feel like I lack direction and focus.

I tried seeking this on DeviantArt, but the atmosphere there kind of sucked, and I didn't get the advice or criticism that I would've liked despite giving it to others upon request. But even then it was better than nothing I supposed, so I stayed there for a few years and stagnated horribly.

It wasn't until recently that I decided to ditch that place and seek out a better community that was more friendly and open.

So here I am. That's all there is to it.

I came here to make friends and improve myself in the ways of the Craft.

    I've got a lot interests.
