I am obsessed with Dystopias. They rip us from our comfort zone and force us to confront parts of our own nature that we'd rather keep buried. They show us the possibility of a future we;d rather not see. They shock and compel us ripping us from our everyday happiness and force to us change our perceptions.

I also find it strange that very few authors have confronted the gargantuan beast called Christian theocracy. Sure, it dark and scary, it rocks the boat a bit too much. But its also edgy and in a way fun. It forces us to confront what we, as a culture, hold most dear.
