I work for the Environment Agency, leading a team of people involved with protecting water quality in the UK. What I would love to do is be a writer. I have written my first novel and I have sent it to 6 publishers without any success. I had some great feedback from one though and I am currently editing my script. In truth, I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm have so much fun getting it wrong!!
I love writing, it comes easy and I am currently working on my second novel. I've joined the forum to get some advice, help and encouragement if possible. I'm not particularly confident which stops me from going along to writing groups, however, I am really proud I have actually finished a book!
I've got a slightly weird sense of humour and a good imagination which helps me with my writing. My ideal holiday would be somewhere by the sea with my notebook (I always write things by hand first), writing down my crazy ideas and seeing what comes out of my head and onto the paper!
I love cooking, being outdoors, watching football in the pub and going to see live bands.Interact
