My name Is Robert Sasse. I am a young sixty six year old who lives in New Mexico with my beautiful wife. I write a lot about my Vietnam experiences in poems, short stories and a couple of good novels that take up room on a closet shelf where a rat might otherwise live. I have been published a few times but have problems giving up anonymity in exchange for seeing my work in print.
My partner, that would be the cute granny I live with has been bugging me to do something with the stuff I've written. One of my problems is not really knowing after three writing classes at U of N Omaha, what makes a poem a poem or a story a story.
In that I hope you can help. I also think some of it is pretty good and at my age I need to collect all the accolades I can.
