I have been published in a small circulation literary magazine; an on-line poetry site; in a regional magazine; and, most recently, in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Lemons to Lemonade which will hit the bookstores in mid August. I have one women's fiction novel nearly completed and am about a third of the way through a YA novel.
To pay the bills and feed my three cats, I work nights as a Customer Account Coordinator at an plant producing aerospace equipment in the midwest.
I earned my BA in English Literature from The University of Iowa and also attended Coe College for part of my education. Growing up on an Iowa family farm with Irish/German ancestors, I learned the value of hard work early in life. I try to apply those same principles to my writing.
