How did I get dragged into this!? Cheza thought as she stepped in the door. One minute she'd simply tried to ignore the crowd, the next she was being trussed up by the other girls in her dorm hall and being flung into a party. She apparently lacked "social time" with others, so they said.

Still, all this somewhat reminded her of her freshman year in high school before she'd been kidnapped. Homecoming hadn't been too much different than this.

Except she hadn't had boys staring at her left and right. Cheza turned a shade of scarlet and tried to tug down the hem of her dress -an emerald dragon-print that made her steel grey eyes and crimson hair stand out even more. But it only made the girls leading her to the group smile even more in triumph.

"Hey, let's see what your little guy friends think!" one of them giggled then -not too gently- shoved her into Mikkish.

Mikkish was busy with the drunk hotties he was already dancing with, when he felt someone crash into him. Turning around, Mikkish didn't recognize the girl at first.

The strong odor of perfume hit his nose suddenly. Too much perfume, he thought. Her height matched his own, which he liked. He never understood why other men wanted girls who were very short or very tall. Her hair was in an attractive updo, different from the rest of the ladies, but what made her stand out was how she was dressed. While every other girl was dressed to show as much skin as possible, this girl wore a dress that reached all the way to her knees.

Mikkish grinned at the girl, the same aroused grin he gave to the first girl he danced with. Stepping in close, he started dancing in a seductive way.

Then, he stopped. Pausing for a moment, he looked at the girls face. There was something familiar about this girl....

"Oh, Cheza! You look good." Mikkish said over the loud music "How are you liking the party?"

The guy shrugged and walked away from Joe, leaving him alone....for a second, at least. A cute, blonde girl, the type Mikkish might go for, walked over to Joe. She saw that he was all alone, and had just been hit on by a gay guy.

"Hey, you're pretty cute. Wanna dance?" She asked seductively

I looked at the woman, my blush lightening a little, I didn't feel any attraction to the woman, I just felt embarrassed by the compliment. "I'm sorry miss, I'm not into girls, I'm sure that there are other nice guys around here to dance with though..." I said timidly, still having my hands clasped around my locket... I tended to do that whenever I was nervous or embarrassed and it was within reach.

"Aw." She said to Joe. Though 2008 was not 1950, many people were still ignorant of gays. The girl assumed that guys turned gay due to being rejected many times.

"We don't have to dance, you know. We can just stand here and talk." She said. The girl was drunk and stoned. Not only that but she was at a party; the kind of party that encouraged giving into your lusts and desires. She was a good girl in daily life, and wouldn't normally the kind of girl to throw herself at guys.

I looked at the girl, she appeared to be intoxicated and... oh... what was the term again... right... rocked, I think that's it, she was rocked and intoxicated, plus I knew that most people thought different things about gays. She likely thought something among the lines of horrible relationship made me swear off women, I was just acting rebelliously, I just wanted to be in the out group, I gave up on trying to be with women because they rejected me too much, I was just androphobic, something traumatized me in my life that made me swear off women, or, my personal favorite, the devil was making me gay to do his bidding and corrupt the souls of men everywhere.

"Um... talking isn't really one of my strong suits, sorry... maybe you should sit down for a while... you're not really yourself right now, you might just want to go home before you make a horrible mistake that you'll regret the next day." I said, I knew that this girl would likely not stop trying to hit on me, thinking that she could make me change sides, though I really was worried about her well being, because sleazy guys would prey on these women without a second thought.

"Hey, don't worry about me. I'm-" She was about to do what a drunk typically does: claim she was perfectly fine in this state. That she knew what she was doing, and she had the special ability to retain her right mind while intoxicated. She was stopped, however, by the feeling of chunky fluids rushing up through her esophagus.

"Rahhggghghgh!" She let out, along with a stream of projectile vomit heading straight into Joe's face.

As soon as she suddenly fell asleep she woke up, early in the morning the light that filtered through the windows was colorless enough to make the girl realize of the grey state of the sky.
Lazily she stood up yet she would rather do that than remain in bed, she took a shower and then changed, even if it was too early for classes to begin, she didn't felt like sleeping anymore, neither to stay in that room. She was about to left the room when she felt a call, an ominous call coming from her belongings, she already knew what was it, still she felt drawn to it as usual. Slowly removed between the things inside her bags and found it, a wooden rectangular box, not cheap, neither expensive, just a regular box with a single keyhole; that box had no value at all... The girl produced a poor colored key and opened the box with it.... and inside of it there was a small cubic structure, another box, yet a different one, its very presence was spectacular almost otherwordly, its appearance could not be easily described as it didn't had a real one, yet for the girl it had, in fact for anyone who would happen to see the structure it would find an understanable form... yet it would differ for any mind, as thus what the girl visualized was a reflection of her own mind projected into the cubic structure, "The Box". She spent ten minutes playing with it, trying again to find the trick to open it without the right key yet as usual she failed. She put the box inside the wooden box and hid it within her belongings, after that she abandoned the room.

The girl walked the empty corridors ocasionally gazing at the grey scenary outside, at some point several doors opened and a big number of people appeared out of the blue surrounding the girl with their noisy chatter, fake smells coming from different fragances, endless movement, enough to make the girl feel dizzy, something she didn't felt weird at all, although she woke up completely fine she had that dark feeling that something was wrong within her, as thus she walked as far as she could from the people, abandoning them, leaving behind the corridors, leaving behind the campus itself; there were classes? she didn't give a damn about that meaningless fact. The dizziness felt stronger with each step... no, it wasn't dizziness what bothered her, it was that cursed arm that tortured her, at first physically but eventually mentally once it become to strong to withstand, it was too much for her this time, how strong had it become now!, she felt furious and frustrated and decided at once to end with it with the less elegant method, she produced a metallic object, a knife or more likely small blade klutzly designed but sharped enough, she aimed the deadly weapon at her arm and the sweet essence of murdering it swallowed her mind... not only that arm, murder everything that was bothering her at that moment, and then she swinged the knife.... however by that moment her atention already faded, she felt herself moving the arm numerous times and then walking and doing something... she wasn't sure if the arm was murdered or not, yet it didn't matter now as her mind faded leaving the body only to faint.

An unknown time after she woke up, slowly and painfully, she forcefully stood up using both arms as support which made her realize that her arm was completely functional....

Phew.... I didn't do it.... that's good.... thought the girl

Yet the horror was waiting a more sweet moment to strike her and it was when she raised her head and visualized the gruesome scene in front of her. A corpse, a crucified corpse filled with the most nasty blood and a meaningless message. She felt terrified, she wanted to scream and she would had done it if her lungs were to have decided to cooperate with her yet they rejected leaving her empty mouth open to be mocked by a breeze. Her head fell for an instant and met with another horrorific fact, her clothes and body were covered by the same nasty blood of the corpse and her hand still gripped strongly that sharp blade.

Hey... what does this mean?.... can someone tell it to me please?.... Wondered horrorized at the logic that her mind created as soon as she connected the dots.

Did... did I did this?..... Was I right?... when? when I wished to murder that arm and everything that was bothering me at this moment no?.... so did I really did all this without even realizing????..... Her mind dwelled in the cruel and cold shower of realization that striked her and she remained there motionless until she heard footsteps and sounds. Without thinking it twice she ran away from the place the most silent she could, soon the corpse was found and an investigation effected but she wasn't there, she denied the right to be on that place.

Sucks for a first day... this is why I dislike magic.... thought the girl on her hiding even if the thought was not the complete truth.

Her whole day became a slow yet corrosive nightmare, although she managed to sneak and change her clothes after a shower when everybody was busy at the lessons she still felt afraid to met with the people, perhaps it was her imagination but she felt the smell of that blood pouring from each pore of her body.

It wasn't only 'till very late when she managed to calm a bit, a more rational thought lead her to the theory that she perhaps just fainted and whoever did that didn't noticed it, and she was just lucky to be alive, even if it sound ridiculous she wanted to believe that theory.

An unknown event was being held in an unkown place for the girl, still she knew something was going on as soon as people traveled well dressed in a happy chatter to a location, making sure to remain hidden in the shadows the girl followed them to where the party was being held, yet she didn't enter, instead remained outside waiting for.... waiting for nothing, she wasn't even sure at what was she doing at that place.

I noticed that the woman had stopped talking mid sentence and I knew what she was about to do, I quickly took a step to the side, just in time too, where I had been, vomit splattered on the wall. "I think you should really go home..." I said crossing my arms sighing quietly. "Sometimes I really wish that people would listen to me..." I thought, I was happy that I hadn't gotten splattered with the intoxicated woman's vomit, but I still felt bad for the poor girl...

The girl didn't go home, but she did walk off. A little puke surrounded her mouth.

Outside, a handsome Italian "guido" approached Sveta.
"Hey girl. Why you sitting out here all alone?" He asked flirtatiously with a grin on his face. The strong scent of his cologne filling the air.

Hikaru studied the man, he seemed like all but an interesting or likeable person. True she was not in her best mental state, still she acted as she usually did.

Hikaru stood up "Is very comfortable, you should try to do it!!, I'm pretty sure the ground will enjoy kissing your ass" said with a bright smile on her face.

In other words, fucker don't bother me if you don't wanna end in the ground.

The guy either didn't take the hint, or didn't care. He was sure that if the girl wasn't interested now, he could change her mind.

"Aw, what's wrong? Asshole boyfriend ditched you?" He asked, not really caring about Hikaru just wanting to get in her pants "Whatever it is, I can help you get your mind off it." He then extended his hand to pick her up.

Inside, Mikkish was dragged away from Cheza by the three jealous girls he was dancing with before. One thing lead to another and he was now pushing a girl against a wall and making out with her. He was now only moments away from taking her off somewhere and engaging in sinful acts with her.

“Yeah!!!” David swayed back and forth as he did his best to dance.

He’d never been to a party like this. It was like a ….a one you see in the movies where everyone is smoking and drinking and wrestling with each other.

He’d seen his parents wrestling once it didn’t like very fun cause his dad had him in the head with his drinky bottle.

"The young tender flesh this room is giving me the oddest urge to mutilate!" David blinked as he was thrusting the air completely out of sync with the music. "Why would you want to do that?"

    "Cause I'm f*king evil!"

David nodded. "You're such a joker ya know that? If I was your mommy or daddy I would have to give you a spanking like dad used to give me with Mr. Leather."

"Dear Evil God ....give me the strength to keep my sanity until I can free myself from this primate's mind and then I shall rule the world bwahahahahahah!!!" David whom had only been half paying attention to his sword joined in on the laughter.

    "Bwahahahahah!"

In the same building, but high above the party, Morgan's black high heels clicked across the hard wood floor of the hallway. When she made it to the door at the end of the hall, she cracked it open and peaked in to see Ace and Donny were discussing something.

"Um, excuse me boys." She said happily, with a hint of flirtatious "It's almost 9. When will you be giving the speech?"

"Relax baby doll." Ace replied his golden locking with her's as he leaned back in his chair. "Let our guests enjoy the party. No need to rush."

The other boy Donny grinned as Morgan appeared his long hair done up in a pony tail and his muscles were obvious through his shirt. The guy was built like a bull but like Morgan his presence was dwarfed by Ace.

"Morgan." Donny said as he approached her. "Where you been all day? A man can get lonely."

"I was out recruiting." She said with a chuckle, as she opened the door fully and walked in "I should have known you couldn't go even a day without me though. Donny is nowhere near enough to keep you satisfied." She teased.

"Well what can I say." Donny shrugged placing a kiss on Morgan's lips. "Hey besides me and Ace what else do you have better to do?" He asked with a wolfish grin. "Date paper?"

"Well..." She said, looking off "I could have fun with some of the new 'recruits." She joked. No doubt, the image of a light blonde, green eyed young guy had been printed in her mind. She knew this was the work of a telepathic though.

"Perhaps you could Morgan how did the people you recruit look? Anyone of exceptional power or influence?" Ace asked as he stood up.

"There were a few telepathics." She said, not particularly impressed by anyone she had recruited "Amateurs though. Maybe good for recruiting the weak willed. I saw a shape shifter turn to a wyvern, almost killed another kid. She impressed the students watching, but she would be nothing to a trained mage."

"Morgan you must not be so quick to judge." Ace replied as began to button up his white shirt. "We are mages the finest breed of human there is. We are all equals, no? It our duty to make sure the weak become the strong."

Morgan fought the urge to roll her eyes "Yes, we all started somewhere. But it would be much better if we had more recruits who were skilled in telepathy, don't you think?"

"Loyalty over quality my dear." He responded.

Donny cut in. "Just listen to him Morgy. Ace knows best about these sort of things besides. The weaker the more easy they are to whip into shape and stuff. Following Ace will make them come to their true potential."

"I guess you are right." She said, knowing Ace and Donny were both right "All I'm saying is that-"

Morgan was suddenly cut off by a knock at the door.

Ace gave a warm grin as he motioned for Donny to answer the beefy college student did as he was told and flung the door open. A man stood in front of them his dark eyes glued to the floor as he grinded his teeth on his bottom lip and his dark messy as he swallowed down whatever was in his throat.

The young man sucked in a breath. “H…hey..” He muttered forcing a smile.

It was their gopher......well more so Morgan and Donny's gopher and sure enough the boy had various stacks of papers in his arm. Things ranging from homework, to mail, to anything in between.

"C...can I come to the party now?" He asked. "I handled it all.....well most of it."

"Hmm..." Morgan paused "Most of it? Why only most of it?" She asked, ignoring his question about joining the party.

"I....I.....well....I had my own to do and stuff." He sighed not making eye contact. "I'm sorry Mor-Miss Levay."

Looking at this....Hugo kid, Morgan considered being harsh to impress Ace, but considered she was maybe being a bit more harsh than Ace would have liked already. Neither Donny or Ace were as serious as Morgan was being. At least that was what it looked like.

"Ok. You can finish the other things tomorrow." She said, her mouth curling into a smile "Go ahead. Join the party. We'll meet you downstairs." She said in a nicer tone.

Hugo set down his papers and clapped his hands excitedly. "Oh thank you!" He said cheerfully spreading his arms but as he did his left hand smashed into shelf he quickly jumped back as various items and books came spilling off it.

"Fucking Christ!" Donny shouted as his massive hand balling into a fist.

"Donny, Donny. Calm down." She said, rushing to grab his arm before he hurt Hugo. In truth, she was equally pissed about what Hugo had just done, and wanted to beat him herself, but she didn't think Ace would want them to hurt Hugo. Still, they couldn't just let Hugo leave shit all over Ace's floor.

"Hugo, watch what you're doing. Now you gotta pick all this up. Then you can go."

"Its no issue we will handle it." Ace simply said as he knelt down began gathering the things up. "Go enjoy the party like Morgan said."

"Um....um....um....um....um....." Hugo continued to mumble on as he back towards the door.

Morgan sighed with annoyance. Ace had all the right ideals, but he got on her nerves a lot sometimes.

"Well, you heard Ace. Go. Party." She snapped, as she knelt down and help Ace pick up the scattered papers.

    Hugo nodded and quickly exited.

Donny simply sighed and shut the door behind Hugo as Ace and Morgan finished up cleaning. "To the party then?"

"Yes. Let's go!" She said happily. They could finally get back to the fun. Maybe she would have fun with the recruits after all. Later though. After the speech.

I looked at the now puke covered corner and sighed. "Well there goes my spot." I thought, I walked away from it, the bile in my throat rising from the smell, I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down and willed myself not to get sick. I looked over at where people were dancing and saw David dancing erratically, not following the beat at all and then doing that weird laugh he does at random times. "Well... at least he's having fun." I thought, I don't think I enjoyed parties like this...

Leon had been dancing with a guy, using his telepathy to get the guy attracted to him... which wasn't so hard, the guy was high and drunk, his mind was very pliable.

Cheza thankfully backed away from the crowd, only to bump into something warm and solid. Whirling around, she froze the moment her eyes came in contact with a pair of bright lavender ones.

"Not your kind of party?" the boy said, watching her from between brazen locks. Cheza took a hesitant step back, heart thumping somewhere in her throat. She shook her head, and the boy's lip quirked into a hint of a lopsided grin. "Don't you want to enjoy it though?"

Cheza shrugged, trying to back off, but his eyes met hers again and in that instant she felt all the tension leave her body.

Just relax. A deep, melodic voice intoned in the back of her mind as she watched the boy lean away from the wall and move toward her, herding her into the crowd. Let the music erase everything. Don't think about anything.

Before Cheza knew what was going on, he was in front of her, too close for what she would normally call comfortable, but her gaze remained locked with his, unable to move away. Then she became conscious of the fact that she was dancing, mirroring his movements, bending, swaying an exact inch part from one another. A small part of her wanted to run and hide, but another became mildly curious. The third, darker part, suddenly surged.

The boy's eyes sparked in excitement as he was enveloped in power -feeling the current of untamed energies that the girl contained. She was enveloped in darkness, a terrible fear, but if he kept it under control, he knew he could bring it out. Could tame her.

Trust me. he intoned, and her eyes began to shimmer a glazed lavender like his own. These kids thought they were all that. That they ruled the night. Show me. One hand stretched out and wrapped around her back, pulling her close as they swayed to the beat, now slowing down. Her eyes widened in momentary fear, then finally turned a solid, pale violet. His control over her was utter.

Cheza felt a strange tingling all throughout her body -the rage of the beast within suddenly dying. She didn't know why, but her skin pricked, itched. She ignored it though, trapped by his gaze, and continued to dance as scales rippled over her body, gleaming like emeralds in the light. Her arms changed, stretched into wings, and feathers tufted and rose on the back of her head and ears. Spreading her arms wide, she fanned the air and stirred it, wreathing everyone with the cloying fog of sweat and heat. The boy moved with her, the grin appearing again as she watched him, too, transform. His limbs grew slightly longer, fangs poked from beneath his upper lip, and his eyes turned to slits. A caramel-brown wolf's tail swayed behind him. Cheza realized that she had a tail too, her body mirroring the movements of his, yet resembling the cold-blooded hide of the serpentine creatures whilst his was mammalian.

Control. Show them that you are in control. his voice commanded, and Cheza whipped away in a wild cadence just as the music changed and the rest of the room went berserk in a flash of blinding lights and sounds. Yet her gaze remained on his, and her own coy smile started to take shape when she saw the pleased expression on his face.

But she was not the one in control.

    Ace Stardust

As dark as it was in the hotel lobby, what lights there were suddenly dimmed. While now most of the lobby was almost a too dark to see well, a spotlight flicked on, bright enough that anyone who looked squinted. Inside this spotlight was a podium. The music stopped as well. This all left the students at the party standing around in confusion.

A girl walked up to it. She wore black clothing and gothy makeup. This was Morgan.

"Ladies and gentlemen what's up?" She called out happily "I hope you are all enjoying the party tonight, but I ask your attention for just a moment. This party would not be possible without the founder of our group: Ace Stardust. Ladies and gentlemen, Ace is an amazing person. He is a genius, a great leader, and his ideals are for the good of all mages. He is normally a very busy man out making the world better for mages everywhere, but luckily for all of you, he is here tonight! Welcome Ace Stardust!" Morgan announced enthusiastically, and being that most people were drunk, they not only clapped, but shouted and whistled. Mikkish, being only slightly tipsy, clapped, but didn't understand why he should. He forgot what the invitation said about the Fraternity, and thought they were all just there to party.

As Morgan stepped down from the microphone the man she’d been speaking so highly of stepped forward.

The man known as Ace Stardust looked like something comparable to a Greek sculpture.

Whatever had crafted him had made sure of that he didn’t look feminine but his features were sharp and his golden eyes though soft seemed to demand attention.

“Good evening ladies and gentleman.” He said giving a small bow for effect. Ace’s white teeth flashed as he began to speak.

“My good friend Morgan is far too generous with how highly she speaks.” He clasped his hands together. “I do apologize to stop the party like this but this is an issue that must be addressed.”

Ace’s smirk faded. “I am speaking of the issue of magic in the mundane world. Why is it hidden? Because of the destruction we mages can do the normal people? Yes those might be reasons.”

Ace’s eyes scanned the faces around him as more words came from his mouth. “But personal feeling on the matter is simply the f word….fear.” He hummed.

“The housewife, the working man, the school children would fear us. If they knew there were people who leave entire buildings or houses decimated or curse them or any sort of violent magic our kind can fire up.” Ace sighed. “It is sad that we must hide our wonder from the rest of the world……is it not?” His voice trailed off.

“But I do not think this has to be. For years I’ve honed my magical ability and knowledge of our world and theirs. I believe we can coexist with another in peace. “

His smile returned but this time it there was far more excitement etched into it. “Think of it!? The wonders we could accomplish if the non-magical didn’t fear the unknown. We could build a utopia here upon the Earth. All we must do is make the outside world realize the amazing potential us mages can do.”

The man leaned in close to the microphone now. “So I’ve come here to Gotha Island a place filled with much danger but incredible young minds such as Donny, Morgan and yourselves and share my movement.” Ace raised his hand into the air.

“You may think it an absurd ideal but let us not forget there was a time where all ancestors walked this Earth as equals with the normal people and did many great things and so can we.”

I was about to leave for the night, the music had given me a headache, the smell of smoke, vomit, and alcohol made me feel sick, and everyone was acting stupid due to drugs and alcohol... I didn't think that I could stick around much longer... but I heard a woman saying that the host was coming up. "It would be awfully rude to partake in one's hospitality and then just leave without hearing him speak... Even if I didn't partake in anything." I thought, I turned around and looked toward the spotlights, I clapped politely with everyone else that was cheering.

When I saw who had gotten on stage... I could feel my cheeks burning up, my heart skipped a beat.... the man that had gotten onto the stage... he was beautiful, I clasped my locket quietly and shook my head quietly, there'd be no way that someone like that would be interested in someone like me... I'm just... well... me.

I listened to his speech the whole way through... I agreed with what he had said... I felt like an outcast the whole time because of my magic. Everyone had avoided me and called me a freak. Some of the rumors came up with me being a demon that would relax people and lure them into the woods to devour their souls, or that I was an alien from outer space that would abduct them and experiment on them and wipe everyone's memories using my calm aura... though... I don't really blame them, I can't be mad at them, it isn't as if they had known what I was, heck, I didn't know what I was.

I applauded him and wondered whether or not I had to stay around for anything... like some sort of membership card or something of the like, if I didn't, I wanted to go outside and get some fresh air.

Mikkish looked up to the podium, at the blonde haired man who they called Ace. Although Mikkish was never the kind of guy who like speeches, this Ace guy's speech sounded like like a plan. If all the mages on this island, and god knows how many there were, went to the world of common people, there would be no stopping them. They could rule over the entire human race.

Mikkish had always been confident in his magic. It was likely that he could take out a gunman or two with his physical buff or pyrokinesis. Without a doubt, enough mages, even noobies like himself, could win an all out war with any army.

If such a war happened, a victory of mages would, without a doubt, put Mikkish as part of the ruling class. Never again would himself or his family suffer. Never again would thugs with wife beaters threaten him. Mikkish could live like a king, as could anyone else he cared about. His life would never be miserable again like it was back in Georgia.

His mouth curving to a grin, Mikkish slapped his hands together, joining the applaud the rest of the partiers had for Ace.

Hikaru's eyes waved and her head tilted now facing the sky and then without looking at the guy she spoke.

"Let me tell you a sad, sad story. I was claiming to find something at the campus, but so far trouble had come to me, why is that? is someone's grudge? is a cruel play of fate?, does fate have a grudge against me?. I can't comprehend it, it doesn't make sense. Perhaps fate is the true enemy and we're just like the people on a reality show plotted by it. Let's overcome fate my friend, we won't be slaves no longer, is time to go for the freedom!!, THAT'S IT! I'LL GATHER A PARTY AND CHALLENGE FATE ON A HEAD TO HEAD DUEL.... Oh but fate isn't tangible right, that's bad, that's sad, is fate trolling me again? Was it giving me a fake hope as an attempt to mock at me?, am I perhaps the chosen enemy of fate?, WELL I WON'T LISTEN TO WHAT FATES TELL ME TO, SO WHAT IF KNIFED A GUY TO DEATH AND CRUCIFIED IT IN THE WALL? I DON'T CARE, IS NOT MY FAULT, IS FATE'S FAULT, I'M FREE OF GUILT!!!!" exclaimed with her arms extended.

Then her head twisted to the guy in a strange fashion and fixed her eyes on him with a deranged smile.
    "I don't want the D, sorry."

A vectorial enchantment to increase the influx of direction and remove the counter vector...

Her hand closed into a fist slammed against the guy's face and charged with a small yet effective enchantment that pushed him way farther than it should under the logic of her own strenght and the guy's weight.

Huh? was it too much? wondered when the body of the guy slammed against one of the walls of the building were the party was being held.

The boy was about to walk away because of Sveta's shouting, when the punch sent him flying back into the brick wall. Before he could say "Crazy bitch," the boy passed out, with warm, red blood leaking from his head. His scalp was only mildly scraped, but his skull had a fracture.

Rue stood off to the side by the walls slowly watching the party trying to decide what she would join in on. The druggies? No, I was never into those things. The dancing just seemed mediocre. I never learned how anyway. A drink however she gladly picked up and looked over to the front as the speech from a devilishly handsome man came up as the main attraction to this chaos called a party.

I did quite agree with what he was saying. But it was pretty boring if one thought about it. It was basically just another equal rights fight like all the others. On the contrary though. I couldn't help but give a grin. It might just be interesting enough because this time magic of all things is involved.

With the speech over with I would walk back towards the exit and hang around there a bit just in case there was something extra to be added in. I took a sip of my drink and waited.

Mikkish slowed his applaud, until eventually he had stopped altogether. This was not because everyone else had lost interest, but because Mikkish had been distracted. By what, exactly?

Never in the past could Mikkish ever resist a cute redhead girl, and by some good luck of his, he had just noticed one at this party. She was standing near the exit, having a drink. Surely she would leave once the drink was done. But Mikkish couldn't let this cutie get away.

    Confidently, Mikkish approached Rue.
"Hey, you look new too. Im Mikkish." He said, sending a telepathic wave to make her feel lust "You are?"

Martyn had quietly looked at the fraternity for about 20 minutes just staring at it looking worried. "... i was already late. this is not good... and then there is a massive party and it's like not really my thing." he said in one long quick sentance holding his locket quietly. "i'll learn how to use my magic well! and keep my parents well and safe. even if they're ok..." He noticed a girl punching a boy confused and shrugged and looked away. "Well that was not good." He says quietly and sighed.
"I hope everyone will be fine in there i'll just stay out here." He sat down quickly and looked around he had already been late and he wasn't going to really join in the party.

He thought about how he had escaped from home just to be here and he hope his parents weren't worrying for him they were so caring for him. "... drat maybe I shouldn't have left... but I couldn't pass the chance to do this... to learn to keep them safe."

I look over to a guy, which I don't know whatsoever walking over to me. I give him a polite smile as he stops next to me. "Yes, I am new." I pause a moment feeling something odd trying to influence me. I give a sigh and concentrate on pushing it back out. I had an idea what it was and I had no intention on letting something like that effect me.
"Well, my name is Rue." I say looking to him and giving a small chuckle. "Though...I must ask Mikkish. Do you get all your nights of pleasure through a simple flaunting of your magic? Pretty weak if you can't even use your own good looks to pull that off." I say downing my drink and simply tossing the cheap cup to the side. "Now if you'll excuse me." I say putting my hands in my pocket making sure one was clenched around my knife in case the boy tried anything funny as I turn to leave the building.

'Oh shit.' Mikkish thought 'Damn...thats right. Magic school. My telepathy wont work as often here.' Mikkish was not about to give up though.

Mikkish was truly caught off guard, but he couldn't just give up so easily.

"Magic? Hey I am new too. The only magic I got is my chiseled good looks." He said to Rue as she walked away, but didn't follow her. Though he normally did, in fact, get one night stands from his magic alone, he knew some things about pickup. He knew not to be too pushy. He walked up to another group of girls. They looked more intoxicated than Rue, and likely more open to having some fun.
