The nurse rolled her eyes walking out as Jinx yelled towards her back,"YOU KNOW I'D BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ALL OF YOU IF YOU DIDN'T LOCK THE DAMN MORGUE! NOW LET ME OUT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!"
“Well don’t you all seem busy?” A man asked walking from the other end of the hospital towards Joe, Theos and Hikaru. He didn't have any outstanding features aside from the fact he looked like a cliched bully from any college film. Strong jaw Toned muscles and an extremely bitter expression as he glared at the three. "Finally fucking found you." He sighed. Despite his hostility he was recognizable to at least one of them, it was Donny the man David had punched through a wall. But he wasn't alone another followed behind Donny this one with shoulder length golden hair with a similar eye color to match . He had perfectly sharp features that were the types seen in renaissance paintings and unlike his companion, his slender boxy was well covered by the white button shirt he wore. His mere presence was demanding the attention of the staff around him as he stepped forward to stand beside Donny. The well known politician, Ace Stardust. "Good evening." He greeted.
I sighed quietly. "I hope Jinx is alright..." I thought, then I turned to Donny. "Uh oh... why do I have the feeling this might get ugly...?" I wondered, then he walked in... Ace Stardust, the man that spoke at that Fraternity party. I could feel my face burning up. "A-Ah, what do I say?! What do I do...!?" I wondered, I finally bowed politely. "G-Good afternoon, Mr. Stardust!" I said a little louder than I had intended to. "Oh come on..." I thought.
Ace gave a sincere smile to Hikaru and Joe. "Well I came to speak with Joe and some of his friends if I could." He carried on placing a hand on Joe's shoulder to calm him. "I remembered you and your friends from the party." Donny snarled. "Piece of blue haired shit." Ace raised his free hand to calm his friend. "But I've heard around you and your friends had been involved in some of the recent chaos as of late. So me and Donny here wanted to ask you all some questions."
I stiffened a little when he put his hand on my shoulder and if it was possible my face went a deeper shade of red. "Kyaaaa! Calm down already!" I thought. "U-U-Ummm..." I stammered. "MAKE WORDS!" I thought. "Y-Yeah, that's fine, alrighty then, we can answer any questions you have, no problem at all!" I said a little faster than I had intended. "...I'm hopeless." I thought, I wanted to curl up into a ball in the corner and wait a couple thousand years...
"Some chaos of the late?" said Sveta The girl got close to Donny and said with a calm tone. "We were just involved in a bus accident, still scares me to think that we were lucky to come alive from that.... You'll see, the bus just lost control and well it flipped and exploded, we were just close to that, yet not close enough like those poor cops...." "Is that what you wanted to know?" asked the girl.
"You really shouldn't be so nervous." Ace said removing his hand, his bright eyes giving Joe the once over. Donny's shoulders relaxed at Sveta's question. "Um, yo Ace can well tell them." Ace ran his hand through his hair. "Obviously Donny that's why we came." Ace faced everyone. "No, I'm not interested in the bus accident. I meant the things regarding the recent string of murders and sniper incident." "Yeah." Donny said. "A friend ours told us he'd heard and your friends had been doing some amateur sleuthing on the crimes."
I tried to relax, but I felt so embarrassed, I felt like a complete fool. "Oooohhh... chances slipping... through fingers... going... going... gone." I thought, if he had been gay or bi, then any attraction that he might have felt toward me was long gone... it might've been when I shouted a greeting to him, it might be when I agreed way too much, it may have been when I was talking way too fast. The only certain thing is that he'd never go out with someone like me. "Yeah, I'm not sure how well we can help though." I said avoiding eye contact with Ace. "But I'll try to tell you everything that I know." I said, I took a deep breath and crossed my arms, I began to feel strangely calm. "The first victim was found in an alley not too far away, me and my friends found the body, he was pinned to the wall and his eyes had been gouged out, on the ground there was a message saying 'If your eyes cause you to sin then pluck them out.'" I said. "The second murder happened on the campus grounds, again we were the first ones on the scene. The victim was chained to the tree and the tree was then set on fire. Strangely no one didn't hear or see a thing. We managed to bring her down, she was still alive so me and a friend tried to heal her, but as you know she didn't make it. There was another message as well 'Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live'. I also found a silver crucifix on the scene buried under the ashes, it likely belonged to the killer or the victim... but my money is on the killer." I said. "The killer is ruthless to say the least. His motivations behind the murders are based around religion. He has a vendetta against mages, however he himself is a mage or has an accomplice that is a practitioner of magic. This obviously contradicts his motive and character. This has led me to believe that he is delusional or at least hypocritical, making a difference within his mind that our magic is given by the devil, while his is a power that was given to him by god to smite mages, this may be reinforced by a third party, it's not a certainty, but a mere possibility that I've thought of." I said. "I don't know much about the victims at all. They were around the same age as us, they may have been students. They were obviously mages. Though I'd need to learn more before I could say with any certainty that there was any concrete connection between the two. For all we know he could have just picked those two out for no apparent reason, it could have merely just been crimes of convenience." I said. "As for the sniper I don't believe that he was the one that killed that fraternity member, Danny, I believe his name was. For one the killings were much more gruesome, this was a single clean shot, and he didn't leave his trademark message at the scene either. The killer had access to high grade weaponry, the building I believe that he shot from was too far away for an average sniper to have enough power to have killed him, if it was some kind of warning or just some sick test drive for his shiny new toy, I'm not sure." I took a deep breath. "...I think that's all we know for now, I hope I was helpful." I said, still avoiding eye contact with Ace. "Now he'll think I'm a windbag too. One hundred loser points for the socially awkward kid in the corner!" I thought.
Roy and Theos Roy watched curiously as Ace appeared, Theos didn't care about the man, only listening to Joes words and leaving shortly after. Roy followed behind Theos as they walked to the desk, so Theos could fill out the right paperwork to remove Jinx from the hospital. Once that was finished, Theos looked to Roy when standing outside of Jinx' room, room 302. "Hey Roy, stay out here. I don't want her to freak out cause she doesn't know you. Also I want to know who or if anyone other then Joe follows." On that note Theos knocked on Jinx's hospital room door and slowly entered. Roy gave a sarcastic salute and stood post. Upon Theos' enterance he spoke calmly. "Hey Jinx......" When Theos enters the room, he merely closes the door behind himself and leans against it. "Doc says you could leave if someone signed you out, so I thought the least I could do is help. Ya know, Payback from the other day...... i guess." A small yet weak smile etched into his expression, showing shyness. Roy was merely leaning against the wall which held the door to Room 302. Roy's attention was on his surroundings as usual, like always he held that monotone expression showing utter boredom. "Hopefully this kid knows what he's getting himself into." Were the only words to cross Roy's mind, as he waited for his friend.
A rant was beginning to burst forth from Jinx at the entrance of another nurse but when Theos entered the room, Jinx sat up, as much as she could and smiled. She listened to him quietly and then gave an even greater smile,"Oh Thankgod! I've been trying to tell these sons of bitches that I am fine now, but they put these fucking restraints on me!" She pulled at them again, feeling angry that they were on her in the first fucking place. She sighed, throwing her head back to move her hair away from her face,"Some son of a bitch stuck needles in my arm, when I was training and he...he...he took my room key and I know he took my bike. I have loved that bike more then any goddamn man in my entire life. Now it's gone.." Jinx couldn't even curl up,"Please just get me out of these god damn restraints! I want to go home."
Theos explained to the nurse he signed the papers to discharge Jinx into his care. With that clear, the nurse left. After the nurse left, Roy stepped into the room as Theos began to remove the restraints and started talking. "We'll have plenty of time to think of why the culprit did this to you and look for your bike. For now, lets just do as you wish and leave this hospital." Now that the restraints were off, Theos stepped towards the door and Roy. "So this is the person you know as Jinx?" Roy's expression held a hint of confusion or inquisition. Theos nodded in approval. "Yes this is her, we may be helping her out for a while until her dorm is safe." Roy shrugged his shoulders in aggreance. "Then our dorm will act as HQ for now?" Roy wondered how Luke would take it, but didn't think deeply into the detail. Once again Theos nodded in approval, motioning his hands towards the door, he says. "After you Jinx. By the way, this is my roommate Roy Hendrix." Roy simply smiles and waves faintly to Jinx. "Since I've spoken with Theos' probation officer, I feel somewhat responsible for his well being. So felt I should help!" With that note they waited for Jinx to lead the way.
Meanwhile... Mikkish was busy shoveling fries in his mouth, as his friend's duck pajamas drew amused stares in their direction. Despite the embarrassment, however, Mikkish couldn't complain. He hadn't eaten any dinner the night before, and was grateful to be eating french fries...for breakfast. "There you are." Came the voice of a young man with a British accent "You're a difficult man to find." Mikkish looked up, food still filling his cheeks. It was Will. He wore the leather jacket he had found, despite how uncomfortable it was in the heat. "You still up for finding the sniper?" Will continued "I just got a couple odd jobs I want done in exchange." He said, sitting down next to Mikkish in a relaxed position. "Hey boys" A voice came, cutting Will off. "Great, a bloody damn slut like McKenna." Will whispered, speaking of his ex. Morgan, then, sat down as well, next to David. "So I hear you boys wanna catch the mage killer." She said happily.
"Hey its the cow with her free milk." David said as he chomped on a sloppy joe, sauces dripping on to his pajamas. "Are you gonna give us paper like last time?" --- Ace went over the information Joe had relayed to him. "A curious case is it not? A serial killer on Gotha and soon after a sniper shows up, both of them seem to be targeting students so far....to degree at least." Donny balled his fist. "I just wanna find the bastards and get this nonsense over with." "Lives are at stake." Ace pointed out. "It is hardly nonsense and I believe we shall begin assisting our friends here in bringing these men to justice." Ace turned back to Joe. "If that's okay with you I mean. It is the least I could because of the fight at the party." "Did you put that blue haired reject on a leash by the way?" Donny asked. "Can't have a guy like that running around unsupervised. He might kill someone."
"W-Well... I would say no, since it's dangerous... but... you'll do it either way with or without my help... plus, you seem like you can handle yourself... and you'd also be pretty useful. I mean I'm just some student playing detective, no one'd really listen to what I'd have to say, especially the police, but you seem like someone that has connections, so... you'd probably be able to do a lot of things that I can't, information-wise." I said crossing my arms, still avoiding eye contact. I then turned to Donny. "He's just... special. He didn't mean any harm. Maybe Junior did but not David, I'm very sorry for what he did and I hope he didn't harm you too badly." I said bowing apologetically.
Jinx rubbed her wrist slowly then attempted to move her legs up over the side of the bed. She touched the floor with her toes, and then settled on her feet with ease. She knew her thong was probably showing from behind the paper dress but she ignored that and took a few wobbly steps to the bathroom. She paused, grabbing her clothes from the nightstand, and shut the door without a word. She erupted from the room a few seconds later in a sports bra and shorts. She grit her teeth,"This is the first time I've ever been out of the house without a good set of Louie's." She gave a quick smile towards Roy,"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Hendrix. I'm Jinx Haven, but I am sure you have heard that from Theos. Thanks again by getting me out of this hellhole. Now let's go." She paused for a second, eyeing something behind them, and smiled slowly,"We will talk later you and I." She then walked past the boys and headed out into the door to see the group of students. She eyed Joe and rushed over to him slowly, brushing past Ace and Donny to give Joe a large bear hug,"Joe! Thankyou, so much...I know this damsel in distress thing is getting old, but I was so scared that no one would find me. He took my bike! They put me in restraints, as he was stealing my fucking bike." She pulled back, hellfire in her eyes,"I could kill him. It scares me how much I want to hurt him." She paused and turned to Hikaru,"Why are you here?" She then turned back to look up at Donny and Ace with small interest,"Hi.."

I could lie, but is it really necessary to?. She opened them and said to Jinx. "I failed to save the realm of mankind for an evil dark beast, I fell in frustration, yet I decided to go on. I was bored and wanted to hang with Joe, so went to his room, then he ran to the hospital, I was still bored and curious so I followed him and then I wanted to take your blood"
I hugged Jinx back and struggled to breathe through the bear hug, I took in a deep breath when she let go of me. "No need to thank me, after all we're friends." I said smiling, and then I frowned. "He actually called me as I was leaving for the day, I think he was toying with all of us... I'm sorry about your stuff and your bike, hopefully we'll be able to catch him and get everything back before he has a chance to pawn it off or damage it." I said, I then turned to Hikaru and looked at her completely confused. "Um... what now?" I asked.
"You seriously asking me this?" replied to Joe "Aren't you like dead curious about who did this to Jinxy Winxy?" said the girl.
Jinx took a step back when the girl said she wanted her blood. She then turned tolisten to Joe and gave him a warm smile. She then took a step back and spoke harshly,"The motherfuckers name is Dante, and that just means he took my fucking cell phone to. God fucking damn it!"

Donny snorted at Hikaru and mimicked Jinx by stepping away from the creep. Ace listened to the conversation silently for five minutes before finally speaking. “Miss Jinx? Was it?” He asked. "Nice to meet you, yet I of course wish it could of been under better circumstances." "What the hell happened to her?" He asked looking at Jinx. "Yes." Ace said. "We were surprised to hear we could find you all hear." He nodded his head towards Jinx and Joe. "I apologize for intruding like this given the circumstances."
Jinx turned and gave a weary smile,"It's a pleasure to meet you as well..uh..Ace?" She sighed rubbing the back of her neck as she spoke, her russian accent vibrant in her words,"To be honest, my dorm room was destroyed when I got home yesterday...and my...I found my raven cut open and hanging from my wall. The next day I went for a workout and this guy, named Dante, came out of nowhere, and after I was insulted, numerous times he stuck four bloody needles in my arm. I would also like to mention I gave him a good ass kicking before I was paralyzed. He then took my keys and cellphone, and most of all my harley and left me there. Luckily, Joe found me before I lost my breath." She felt slightly dizzy, and began to teeter slightly. She touched her forehead, trying to steady herself.
Theos placed a reassuring hand onto Jinx's shoulder to help her balance as he saw her teeter. This was also the first time he spoke, it was towards Ace. "Now that you coincidentally found us. What is your next plan?" Theos' expression almost seemed annoyed, the fact Ace was sticking himself into this business felt odd. Why of all people would Ace be interested in assisting this group? Something about this was off and Theos felt determined to get to the bottom of it. Roy was merely standing with a hand resting under his chin. Roy was sizing up Ace and Donny as they spoke, taking in all words spoken. In fact Roy's did this when everyone spoke. Roy was attempting to analyze their words and expressions as much as he could. Hoping to notice any signs of lies or deceit. Or anything fishy in general.........
"Well we didn't find you by coincidence." Ace replied calmly. "As I said before we were actively seeking you all, considering how involved most of you have been with everything as of late." He smiled at Joe. "As for a plan, can't say that I'm to sure." He sighed his eyes going distant. "Mages are being murdered, our kind. That is not something I can turn a blind to. My other friend Morgan is actually speaking to the one called Mikkish I believe and the blue haired boy of these matters as well." "We wanna help ya kick the guys asses." Donny piped up but his eyes holding a steady glare on Roy.
