    It was fake.

The fakes in this case are growing:

Police chief's wife's fake FB page with racist comments.
Fake ad that the KKK was raising money for Wilson.
Fake images of Brown that you speak of.
And the latest, a claim that Wilson had an orbital blowout fracture from the punch he claims Brown gave him.

I don't think it is Mike Brown. Someone put that on Facebook as some kind of sick prank. 'Cause that's exactly what we need in this situation right now, more fuel to the fire.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Ginger. :p Classic. :D But um, yes, that isn't Mike Brown. That's someone else.

What was fake on the Internet this week: Supervolcanoes, Robin Williams’ pics and Justin Bieber saving a man from a bear
The fake FB page is shown.

And there's good evidence this one is also a fake story:
BREAKING REPORT: Officer Darren Wilson Suffered “Orbital Blowout Fracture to Eye Socket” During Mike Brown Attack; Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, 10:00 AM

Fake news is an interesting phenomena. You gotta wonder what people are thinking when they put that stuff out there.

No, that's a fake facebook page. Sorry.
The original photo was pasted on the page of a Kansas City cop, who is apparently being disciplined for "conduct unbefitting an officer."

I didn't miss it. It was just faster to search the Net than the thread for the link. :D

Sorry when a thread fills up a few pages quickly while I'm not online, I don't always go all the way back to read all the posts, I figured they were just more debates on how people can't understand how to run through a cornfield.

Personally I don't think that cop in Kansas City should be disciplined. He should be fired.

Agreed! Even if he really thought it was Brown, smearing a dead teenager is not okay.. :(

It seems that the professionals don't think too highly of the guy that the Brown family hired.

That's just the assistant. Dr. Baden is the one doing all the work, and I can't find anyone who will cast aspirations on his asparagus.

Edited to Add: But I can find plenty who will disparage the Daily Caller

I can't hang with the legion of expert criminalists here, so I'll go in another direction.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2014/08/14/ferguson_missouri_government_why_is_it_so_white.html

The tag line at the end: "In other words, democracy doesn’t always serve the poor."

Democracy serves those who serve themselves. That's sort of the whole idea. No one is too poor to vote. My suggestion is that the African-American community in Ferguson is all about civil rights and not so much about civic responsibility.

Lines such as the aforementioned one in this article, advance the misconception that the citizens of Ferguson live in a democracy.

I think that this great song pretty much says what I believe. As USA fan I don't want to go into whole "is it democracy" debate.

A perfect democracy? No. A better democracy than most governments of the world? Abso-freaking-lutely!

As far as I know, there are no true democracies anywhere in the world.

Ha! You wish. America is a polyarchy, and a federal republic. A republic is NOT a democracy.
