I am about to hit 81.ooo, so I am way ahead of where I need to be, and on top of that my novel is coming to a conclusion very soon. ^^
32825! Nearly there. I can't believe how many people have already finished. Sometimes it felt like I was pulling teeth just to get out certain paragraphs.
Going to write more now, hoping to get in 10k by 4 am. Currently at 25k because I forgot I wrote an outline for the novel and didn't know where to go from where I am now. :S 'S all good, though.
Man, you're all doing so much better than I am. I've just hit 20k, but it's 1.14 AM here in the UK and somehow my brain said, "Wow, I totally understand where the story is going now. Let's write it down and forget about sleep." Such is life.
You're welcome! Oh! And for those wondering, here is my profile; http://nanowrimo.org/participants/misakiasou
Last night I crossed the 90k point! My total is 90808 words, which is the most I have ever written on a story!
I obviously can't count worth #@$%! I don't know why but I thought 50,000 was an average sized, like 300 page, novel and that I'd finish in time. No wonder everyone else has been speeding past me, everyone else has been working towards finishing their novel while I've been keeping an eye on the numbers. Oh well. On the plus side though - Less than 7,000 words to go and I've reached 50,000! However I'm still not all that close to ending - Looks like I'll be mushing on into December.
Due to recent circumstances, I have had to put NaNo on hold. Congrats to all of you guys who have finished/are close to finishing!
I decided to validate my word count today instead of waiting for the 30th. I haven't been able to get onto the internet on the weekends. I crammed my novel onto 1 word doc to see how many actual pages I made. 59,420 words ( my updated word count ) sound like a lot but it's actually only 108 pages. I've still got a ways to go before I finish the novel but I feel like I'm half way there. For a first draft, I'm really pleased. Even when Nano ends, I'm going to stick to my new schedule.
I personally find this useful and will consider it while writing my novel I'm grateful you spent the time to write and post this, thank you.
Adding buddies as I go. Let's see how many of us get it done this year. Last year only four out of my buddy list finished. So excited.
Oh boy, that time of year again? I'll partake if I don't find a project to work during the month of November this year. I do have a few novels on the back burner that I honestly should get to once I have free time.
