What compels you to write? My inspiration of which my avatar is from. Why do you write? I guess the answer to this started some 7 odd years ago. I've always wanted to tell a story. Through the years I wrote several partial first drafts. At least in my opinion, they were horribly written and were poor stories overall. I have much higher expectations for my current one. Not to mention more experience. What makes you write what you write? Again, my inspiration. And, I don't like writing non-fiction. What Made you decide you liked to write? When I got to write what I wanted to write. I always hated the prompts I was given to write about in English class. To be honest, I never did them. They were always non-fiction and required research and was simply something I was not passionate about. What Do You Write? Fiction. Currently fantasy. I have another story on the drawing board that would work in a fantasy or modern world. I don't think I'll ever write non-fiction 'cause I have so much more freedom in a fictional world.

Writing makes me happy. Professionally I'm an essay writer ( I think I already have mentioned it earlier), but it is my passion as well. When I feel lonely, I just start writing , I just go on and on. It brings a peace of mind.

I write for the money, obviously. And the fame. Hmm. Well, I'm not usually into answering questions seriously, but I suppose my serious answer to this might be something like: "because people told me I was good at it when I was a kid, and that stuck with me"? Kind of a silly reason, really. I could also quote Achewood and say something like writing is merely "A momentary diversion on the road to the grave", or whatever. I mean, that sounds super dark, but when you look at things in those terms it's like, I don't know, why does anyone do anything? I mean, really? How do we even know that we have free will at all and that we aren't just following the arbitrary whim of electrical and chemical impulses in our brains and then coming up with reasons for our actions post-hoc? I'm drunk. No, kidding, I'm not. Maybe I just write to get a reaction from people. Man, why did I even try to answer this? What compells you to write? my Muse. she wears steel-toed combat boots, and if I ignore her she starts kicking me in the brain until I start writing. What compels you to write? Like a lot of science fiction writers, I am compelled primarily by ideas. I get some pretty good "what if" ideas and just have to write something about them. Several years ago, I used the forums of an online MMORPG game. After a while I discovered the fan fiction section and read a bit of it. Nothing will compell me for writing, I really enjoyed writing, love to write some new things and innovative ideas for writing. From childhood I love to write, when I was in school I write diary about what i feels the whole day.
People do the writing because of various purposes like Vocation and Occupation. i write because it is my vocation.
What compells compelled you to write? The thing that compels me to write is my ego. What compelled to me to write in the first place is my (much cooler and much more charismatic) younger sibling. That was a long time ago. Why do you write? To set a better standard for fanfiction is one excuse I use when I write fanfiction. Another for the rest of my work... well, I'm not sure. There's way too much I want to say that I can't properly convey without stories, there's so many people I want to give a voice too, and way too many loud, obnoxious fat cats who are getting too much attention online. What compels you to write? I love mentally putting myself in situations that happen too rarely for me in everyday life. Reading is one way of doing this, but in writing my own stories I can take iteven further, really exploring the emotions which come along with these unfamiliar scenarios. Why do you write? At university I fell in love with the works of Gogol, Chekhov, Pushkin and Sartre. I admired the techniques they used, the characters they created and the situations they invented. I also discovered the works of Arthur C Clarke, whose ideas have never failed to blow my mind. While I can't claim to be anything like these writers, they certainly inspire me to write what I do. It all started when I closely watched my flatmate read one of my first 30-minute writing challenges - seeing him instantly go from smiling quietly to screaming and swearing at my twist ending was amazing! What I write is frequently changed according to the situation. I never write about similar things, all time I write about different things. I write to experience the adventures.
