"Divine" just because it looks and sounds... divine?

Sesquipedalian as used as an adjective. I just find it a bit amusing

I love the word "maravilloso" for some reason. I keep finding reasons to use it in sentences.

I don't know that word. It kinda sounds like you'd use it like this:

"The maravilloso toad squatted in the mud."

    Is that right?

I have loads of favourite words, and they change day by day. Today's one is 'behemoth'. Some other recent favourites are serendipity, actually, syncopation, vainglorious.

It would be used in a sentence like this:

Vamos a ver el maravilloso mago de Oz.

I have many words that I like - insinuate, cacophony, digger - but I do have an overall favourite. Although it makes me seem like a psychopath.

I love the word apocalypse. A lot.

I don't know why; maybe it's because I read a lot of stories about the apocalypse. I think it just seems to bounce around the mouth in a lovely way, especially the "poc" bit which I could imagine as a "pop" sound. I dunno, it's just beautiful.

I always said that the one advantage to an apocalypse would be that I would be able to say the word over and over again. Silver linings and all that.

A moonraker is a small sail on certain square-rigged sailing vessels, the topmost sail when it is present.
Also, a slang term for an idiot.

Gargantuan. I so rarely have an opportunity to use it in a sentence. ;)
