And some of that thrash metal! And some of that Nine Inch Nails, but the album I have on Spotify is so twisted that it makes above four songs look like something from Sesame Street.
The last song I've heard was Dave Matthews with "Crash." The song itself is OK in my opinion. But it was played a lot on the radio here in America starting in the summer of 1997, which was a good summer for me.
The song I'm currently listening to is UB40 with "Red, Red Wine." However, I'm only hearing this song in my head, as I'm not near a radio right now.
Listening to Eric Church right now, one of the songs off his second album called "Those I've Loved". Some of his earlier stuff (before he hit the big time with his album "Chief") is really good and really underrated.
When I listen my CD collection, I tend to like CD's with multiple music artists, as opposed to hearing a whole CD with just one artist.
Time for some sad songs. It's almost winter after all; Steven Wilson - Drive Home Skyharbor - Patience Both videos are by the same small group of animators.[/MEDIA]
@Adenosine Triphosphate - You're welcome (The whole album is incredible so picking one track is tough. This one works on its own but the album works more like one big (angry) symphony.) Whole album, if you're interested; NB; this is not easy listening
I've never been a huge fan of Metallica's music, although I don't flat-out hate their music. I can't really put my finger on why I don't care for their music.
@Curupira22 The first description of melodeath I heard was basically "like death metal but less offensive", but I suppose a more nuanced definition is in order.
When I was 13 years old back in 1992, I started listening to music that I liked, such as rock music and top 40 music. Before that, I only listened to music that my parents liked, which was country music and oldies tunes.
Holy mutherf***ng cripes. I'm a huge fan of the 1970s Jethro Tull, and I've been listen to that band recently. Barriemore Barlow is one of the greatest drummers in history! I'm listening to the Stormwatch album right now and I can't believe what I'm hearing. Barriemore Barlow is one of the greatest drummers in rock history.
It's funny that I listen to dance music, hip hop, as well as r and b as much as I do considering that all the songs from these types of music pretty much sounds the same.
