    Milly

She looks around confused...in pain, dazed for a moment. The first words out of her mouth were "Mom?" She gets up wincing at her cuts. Tn pained tears she cries. "Mommy? Mommy where are you!? Dad?!" Panic rises with in her as the events of last night play in her head, and her injuries prove they are real.

"Mommy? where are you mommy...please don't be dead..." She begins to cry.

    "She isn't dead." A voice grunted.....a voice from.....somewhere

She jumps. "W-who are you? where am I? wheres mom?"

"I'm the Pr-" He paused. "No." He sighed. "I'm Tom and I imagine your mother is in the hospital at the moment after what happened. I'm speaking to you through a microphone in your room." He hummed. "If you like I can come down and we can talk in person?"

    "O-okay..."

    "Gotcha."

    ---

Three minutes later the white door opened and in stepped the man who’s assaulted her home. His eyes tired and shoulders heavy as he made his way towards her stopping a few feet away, keeping his distance. The man, Tom gave a sad smile.

"Hi." He swallowed. "This....this is probably confusing for you."

"You said mom was in the hospital. Can I see her? is she okay?" Milly says desperately. “Um….” Tom’s voice trailed off. “No not right now but soon I think but for now I’m afraid you’ll have to stay here.”He gave a jovial smile. “Your mother is alright though, I promise.”

She nods, drying her tears, then, she giggles. "You look like you got into a car crash er...sir. What happened to you?" He flashed her a smile. "You should see the other guy." The solver ran a hand through his hair. "Well I hope you like the room. I know a thing or two about what kid likes so I packed this place with toys and games."

He looked around. "So what are you into?"

"I wanna be an acrobat!" She shouts, "Just like my mom before the accident."

"An acrobat!? Wonderful!' He clapped his hands. "I used to work with acrobats actually and still keep up with them when I can." He wandered over to one of the many shelves in the room and grabbed various ball items.

two baseball, three small rubber balls and casually began to flawlessly juggle as they carried on their conversation. "Can you guess what I am?"

"Um...a clown who owes the mob a LOOOOT of money?" She answers teasingly.

The solver tossed all the balls in the air letting them all bounce off his head in one at a time and have her a friendly shrug. "You got me." He admitted. "I work as a professional clown but nope don't owe any money.'

He frowned. "But I do owe someone." He gave her a bow. "Need anything madam?" She thinks for a moment. "Can I at least call my mom? She's probably so worried about me after what happened last night. And I, I want to make sure my family is okay." The solver's smile vanished and he slowly shook his head. "I'm afraid not miss." He started towards the door and muttered silently. "I can't risk them being hurt."

She tilts her head not understanding. "Why would I hurt my own mom?" She asks incredulously following him to the door.

The solver's eyes brightened again and he gave her a friendly pat on the head. "Not you." He chuckled. "Nothing you need to concern yourself with, you'll be with your mom again soon.....I promise." And with that he left locking the door behind him.

Excuse me.” A male voice said and in Kubi’s room came a man with sharp features enough to be called handsome, though his standout bright red hair and freckles was the real eye grabber for better or for worse depending on the beholder.
His hair was neatly combed and a blue polo shirt tucked into his khaki pants.

"Are you by Any chance Mrs Sharp?"

The man caught Kubi in a moment of weeping, a picture of Milly dressed as a literal dumpling for Halloween standing triumphantly with a bucket of candy in her right hand. A smile brighter than a jackolanturn. Kubi eyes had since averted the picture, her head rested on her drawn up knees.

"My baby my poor baby." She kept repeating. It wasn't just that she was kidnapped by someone who clearly had no issue with killing. It was that Kubi was stuck here recovering, unable to do anything about it.

"I'm very sorry." He said with a frown. "I can't imagine what its like for my own child to be kidnapped......well I don't have children." He admitted seating himself by her bedside. "Just so we are clear I'm not a cop."

"Well then... what do you want then?" She asks between quiet sobs, not looking at him.

"Simple." He said. "I can solve your issue." The redhead's smile was sincere. "I can get your daughter back, shouldn't be difficult." She shot up. "How!?" She asks. "Let me worry about that." He put his hand over his heart. "I can handle The Problem Solver and well if we are being honest I have a stake in this as well or as much as anyone else."

"Call me Guy." He said. "Norm Guy."

"Norm Guy...um...okay." She looks at him, a sudden darkness falls over her stare. "What is your price?" She mutters.

"How did you guess I'd have a price?"

"Don't play dumb...just tell me." She mutters.

"A penny." He said simply. "I want a penny for your troubles and by penny I mean you'll owe me a favor for saving the life of your daughter and your friends."

"What kind of favor?" Kubi asks again. "I won't agree until I know what you want." Norm held up his hands. "To be honest I don't have much of a clue yet but I can assure you it won't be a violent favor, I'm not a big fan of violence."

He stood. "The real question is what favors would you be willing to do for your daughter?" He snapped his finger. "Still though I've no problem solving the problem of the problem solver.....oh....wow...." He said giving a Kubi a wide smile.

"Trying saying that one three times fast." He repeated. "I've no problem solving the problem of the problem solver."

Kubi get visibly angry she gets to her feet. "Don't toy with me. I can think of plenty of non-violent things that would never the less be unsavoury. That isn't a good enough answer, and you don't offer to save someone child with out wanting something in return."

She glares at him. then crosses her arms. "You want to sleep with me... don't you?"

Norm blinked at her several times. "WOW!WOW!WOW!" He shouted. "Where the hell did that come from!?" He grabbed the collar of his shirt tugging it open as if to release steam. "Yeesh......man."

"Well your not saying no." She scoffs adds sitting back down on the bed. "And if that is what you want then you can forget it."

"What?" He raised an eyebrow. "Um no....no dammit I don't want sex, that would be a ridiculous thing to ask for .....really though? You thought I meant sex." His cheeks turned redder then they already were. "Do I really look that kinda guy.....?"

He scooped up the hospital mirror at the table to Kubi's left and examined himself. "Is it the polo shirt that gives off a rapey vibe?"

"Then what?" She says exasperated, "Does a strange man want from a woman of which he has never met before?"

"Maybe because she has information he's looking for or maybe she'd be interested in helping him cause he's about to do her a favor out of the goodness of his heart." He shook the mirror at her. "Ya don't just go offering strange men sex."

He sighed. "Your friends are gonna be walking into a death trap and once I help them, the favor I want is simple help me take down his handler." He ran a hand through his hair. "The Problem Solver is a freelancer and lets be clear until whoever hired him is dealt with.....you'll not get much peace."

Kubi squints at him, After a moments reflection she says. "Okay, I'll help. Now make good on your word...and save my family."

    Old School

Stella pulled her up slowly to the mansion Jacks in the passenger seat and The Valentine relaxing in the back seat.

Tina and Nick were already there waiting. The sounds of gunfire that had rung out on these now empty grounds, they’d been to war here Tina, Kubi, Max, Nick, Peter, Joe and Haleigh when they faced off against Karla and Amy.

Trisha had murdered Haleigh and Peter here.

From the outside the small mansion hadn't changed much but the souls of the dead gave the place a haunting feel on a midnight such as this."Well here we go." Stella sighed. "I guess nodding Tina." As they all faced the large black gate.

Stella pressed the intercom. "Um hello?"

"Yessssss." The Problem Solver's voice sounded from the speaker. "I assume you've come to answer the challenge." Stella's eyes narrowed. "Yes." She said. "Of course."

"Well then come on in." He said. "Front door is open." And with that the intercom went dead and the gates opened up to the pathway to the mansion in the distance.

The Valentine followed Stella, hands in pocket, a stern expression.
"So this is the place were your classmates were murdered right?... Looks fancier than I thought" said the man.

The fact that even the front garden was carefully maintained revealed that this was far from an inhabited place.

Once the intercom produced Problem Solver's voice the hand of the man pressed Stella's shoulder stopping her track.

"I don't think is wise for you to go in the front lady, who knows what is this guy playing. I'll take the front, Jacks watch out for the rear" ordered the man walking in front of the woman.

Jason had a map of the mansion along with a satellite picture of the property loaded onto his HUD. He was waiting inside the fence line ahead of the others, having already hacked the few cameras that watched the exterior. They were now showing a steady loop of nothingness. It served him well when he had scaled the wall.

He stood on the path that lead to the mansion. He was wearing segmented black ballistic armor and was armed to the teeth. An assault rifle slung over his shoulder, a should rig held a Desert Eagle, a semi automatic SIG on his hip, a brace of flash bang grenades on his belt, along with extra ammo. There was a knife strapped to his thigh, and a pouch that held a length of rope and a small foldable grappling hook. Three throwing knives were on the other thigh, along with another ammo pouch.

As the gate opened, he turned to face the newcomers.

"Good evening. I assume you are here to get the girl back?"

"All right, what's the game?" Asked The Valentine while moving his hand inside his long coat ready to produce a weapon if needed.
"Is the girl what we want, if you attempt to interfere I won't hesitate" stated.

Jason smiled and lifted his hands in a conciliatory gesture.

"Easy Mr. Valentine," Jason said. "I've got no desire to engage in conflict. I want to get the girl back as much as anyone."

The man didn't relax his stance. "Then proof that you're not working with this Problem Solver"

"Hmm, Proof? I can't exactly give you any proof," Jason said. "But I can assure you that the Problem Solver is no friend of mine, and that I am here to help. My mission right now is to bring him down. He has interfered with Mr. Laplace's interests, and I'm here to put a stop to that."

"Laplace huh? It had been a popular name lately" said the man. "Yet if you can't proof a thing" said the man followed by a deep exhalation. Then in the span of a second a long steel figure was now in the hands of The Valentine, it was a gun, but different from the regular, it was apparently crafted by an expert hand. The design was of a revolver with a long barrel. The most impressive part of it's design though was the diameter of the cannon, it was thinner than most common guns, it would not work to actually a fire a strong bullet, but just small rounds, it was complemented by a long grip and as an old fashioned revolver it had a very thick cylinder in contrast of the cannon it would allow the weapon to be charged with 10 rounds. The effectiveness of this weapon was yet unknown.

"Then I'll have to ask Mrs. Stella. If she says no, you better leave this place, if you try anything funny I'll shoot. This weapon is deadlier than it looks like"

The same instant that the Valentines gun went up, Jason's Desert Eagle left his shoulder rig and leveled on the Valentines right eye.

"Move another inch, and you're a dead man," Jason said evenly. "Go ahead and ask Mrs. Colt. I am very patient, but I don't appreciate having guns pointed at me, Mr. Valentine."

Stella sighed, stepping beside the men. "I know him Mr. Valentine, well more accurately, know of him. We're all on the same side here, there's no need for violence at the moment."

She carefully eyed the assassin, her expression grim. Another one of Laplace's troubleshooters, though she'd never seen much of him. But she'd heard things...if the rumors were true.

"Save your bullets for the Problem Solver, Jason." Stella muttered as she turned towards the mansion. Both men lowered their weapons and Stella nodded to Jason but sent a look to the others that said 'Watch him.'

    ---

Jason was the first to push open the mansion door with Stella behind him and Valentine, Tina and Jacks bringing up the rear. It was as large as those who’d been there before remembered and the first thing that greeted them were the large steps which led up to the second floor.

Stella tried the light switch…and nothing.

Jason tried another and...nothing. No power or at least no lights, leaving them alone in the darkness, the only light being the moon and the various lightning strikes which lit up the room from time to time.

To get even more cliché the door they’d entered shut behind them with a loud crash that echoed through the empty mansion.

Stella grabbed a hold of the door and pushed.

No luck, they'd been locked in.

Jason sighed, and drew his SIG. It had a flashlight mounted under the barrel which he flicked on. He waved the light around in the darkness.

"I knew this wasn't going to be simple," he said. "At least no one is chained to a wall next to a hacksaw... not yet anyway."

He scanned the room with the light, treading carefully and checking where he stepped with the light.

Jacks made a silly face at the Valentine as she followed in the rear, enjoying the fact that no one was paying attention to her. She walked inside, her body posture relaxed. In truth she had more knives on her then she could count on both hands, and her babies were stuck in there holsters waiting for use. She moved past Stella to stand beside Jason,"Mmm...Kinky. Let's save that for later, though sparky." She eyed Valentine with bright green eyes,"By the way, this one's clean. You think I would even let him close to Stella if he wasn't."

She turned back to Jason and blew him a kiss,"If my research is wrong though, I'll make you eat your own dick." She laughed and took a few steps forward into the darkness, "Watch her Christmas. I'm going ahead. If this Problem guy wants to play this game let's get it rolling."

Tina held her gun in her hand, aiming it at dark corners, her eyes searching, her ears listening. She pulled something out of her pocket and stuck it to the door, then turned it till there was a quiet click. She continued towards the stairs moving up them slowly, ever at the alert.

Jason soon found himself face down his feet tied together sending him spilling to the floor his head slamming into ground. The tether around his foot which had brought him. Stella's eyes widened seeing it spark and high volts of electricity were sent through his body.

    ---

Tina’s movement stopped when once to the top of the floor her eyes drifting down to where her leg had been halted.

    By..

    By…..

    A WIRE

An alarm clock like sound went off with an ear splitting sound level enough to pull Stella’s, Nick’s and Valentine’s attention off Jason whom was jerking back and forth on the ground and up to Tina. Trip wire + sound....could only mean one thing.

Tina didn't have long......a second, maybe less.....

Jason lurched and arced his frame as the electricity passed through him. He couldn't think, couldn't see. Couldn't hear. Then the sensation abated for a second, maybe while a capacitor charged. He started reaching for his knife, but as he grasped it, the shock came back and every muscle in his body spasmed.

After a few more seconds of agony, it stopped again, and as quick as he could, he lifted his body and slashed at the cord holding him. Before he was all the way through though, another shock came. The spasm sent his arm flailing, and the knife striking into the cord again.

The surge of electric stopped. His last flailing cut must have severed the line feeding power. He sighed a breath of relief, and then finished cutting the cord and dropped to the floor.

There was a ring of swollen and blistered flesh on his ankle, and his movements felt jerky, but otherwise he seemed to be okay.

"Everyone else okay?" he shouted, sweeping his light around.

Tina jumped back from the wire faster than anyone could respond. She makes it a few feet away when the trap triggers. A ear-deafening boom followed by a flash of fire and light throws Tina to the bottom of the steps. She groans angrily pushing herself to her feet. Tina's right sleeve is burnt away and her back and arms are speckled with blood where splinters from the wood logged in her skin.

The top of the stairs was destroyed and on fire. "That how you want to play!? HUH!?" She yells at the darkness. "Bring it, Ba*****! I'm bringing hell to your doorstep!!" She waits no longer, dashing back up the steps she leaps through the flames to the next level. She does a combat roll, snuffing any flames and comes to a stand, gun in hand.

Jacks walked down the hall with a relaxed demeanor. She was used to working within the dark , it reminded her of her childhood in a cell. She pulled out a knife and moved at a soft pace, her boots making little noise!

A black glove covered Jack’s mouth pulling her backwards into the door on her right, the two found themselves tumbling into the darkness of the room.

Jacks remained calm, her legs kicking out as she ripped her arm back to jam the knife into her assailants face. She bit down on the mans hand and proppelled her body forward hoping to buck him over her own body

There was a clinging sound the knife Jacks had shoved into her attacker’s face had clashed with the pale doll like mask that covered its face. The mask it wore being the only clearly visible in the room which would soon become an arena.

It dashed forward flinging the nearest item it could pick up at her

Jacks lifted up her knee rushing the item and breaking it apart as she chucked the useless knife and pulled out a gun shooting at the target. She giggled jumping up and propelling her legs forward to hit him in the chest

    ---

The gunfire from down the halls reached those in the lobby as did the sounds of the struggle that was beginning

    ---

It jerked a couple times at the bullets slamming into its cloaked body however.....Jack's own kick sent her on her back.

It was like running into a wall.

The doll mask lifted its boot and attempted to come down on her head.

Jacks hit the ground hard and rolled out of the way as the boot came down. Shegrabbed ankle quickly though and kicked the mans feet apart hoping he would fall on his ass. She rolled back taking out two knives and slamming them into the kneecaps in hopes that the joints werent covered.

It fell as she'd hoped and let out a painful grunt once the knives had been inserted into its legs, its hand lashed out striking her in the throat, blood beginning to flow to the ground

Jacks grunted putting her hand over her throat in agrivation. Blood flowed down her chest from a small gash on her neck. She swore taking a step bavk and rippingoff her jacket. She pulled out a gun and shot rapidly at the man as she ripped her shirt and wrapped a strip around her neck. She then let out a roar dropping the gun and pulling out two vicious looking razored knives and running at him with death in her eyes. She sidestepped turning her leg backwards to try and kick him in the face again.she rolled back onto her feet then propelled her body into his chest and grabbing his arms twistinging violently so she could shove her knife into his gullet

The Doll mask jerked and thrashed gagging once the knife had slid into its stomach, warm blood flowing from its gut on to Jack’s hand and finally the body’s struggled slowed and accepted its fate.

Jacks twsited, moving the blade across his stomach to let its guts fall to her arm. She then walked up and ripped off the mask her heel slamming into the guys nose as she slipped on the doll mask and refit her jacket over her arms. She shoved her knives back in place then grabbed her guns and felt the guy out to understand his weak point. Preparation was the key and as she headed out down another hallway she gave a hearty laugh,"Bbbbbbb bad to the bone..dunuhnuhnuhnuh."

“Damn!” A familiar but disembodied voice flowed through the mansion of the lobby. “What is with you all and living….” The Problem Solver sighed. His voice coming from small speakers in the corners of the room. “Like what does it take for a guy to get lucky?” He asked. “Explosions and electricity……maybe my bear traps will deal some damage.”

"You should all probably watch your steps." There was a brief several second pause over the mic. "I.....probably shouldn't of said that."The Solver chuckled. "Quick on your feet Tina and you to stranger." He said speaking to Jason. “Oh right.” He continued. “I’ve got the little lady with me, Milly. Please do come and fetch her if you can. The woman who went off alone already ran into some unfortunate trouble or well ....the creep did who attacked her.”

"Anyway if you wish to continue the game." His voice became tense. "Please make your way in an orderly fashion down the hall."

As Jason swept his light around, the ground below him suddenly shifted and he began to fall... he soon slammed onto cold concrete. The trap door he was lying on had shut behind him. He felt a pair of metal gloved hands roughly drag him to his feet and slam him against a wall. He'd be face to face with a creepy masked samurai. "Hehe... let's have some fun, shall we?" He asked, tilting his head. Jason would notice that there were leather restraints bolted to the wall around him and nearby there was a hacksaw sitting on the table... it had brown splotches on it... dried blood.

Jason instinctively twisted his frame, trying to unbalance his attacker. His training kicking in, he then kicked at the samurai's knees. He still had a knife in one hand and a gun in the other, and he struck out with the knife at the forms arm.

This was not going as he had expected.

The blows did little... the only thing that he accomplished by kicking the samurai's guarded knees was hurting his own foot, and the most the knife did was scratch up the armor. "Hehe... gonna have to try harder than that!" He said, glee evident in his voice. He grabbed his wrist, the one that held the gun, and squeezed tightly and slammed it into the wall repeatedly.

Jason did in fact try harder. He calmed himself and steadied his knife hand, while holding fast to the gun in his other, despite the vicious blows. He breathed, ignored the pain, and the looked for gaps in the armor. He started aiming for the spot where arm and shoulder met, armpit, ribs, and neck. At the same time, he got his legs between him and the madman, and started pushing him away.

The samurai just cackled in insane glee and pushed harder against him, his combined strength and the weight of the armor attempting to crush Jason against the wall. "Oh, you're making things oh so tough... I was just thinking your pinkies... but now I'm thinking maybe a whole hand! I wonder how long it'll take for you to bleed out, oh, it should be an interesting show!" He said, he suddenly let go of Jason and stepped aside, knowing that Jason would likely have been using all of his strength to push back against him.

Jason rolled forward as he felt the pressure release. He landed on his feet and a moment later a flash bang grenade landed at Leon's feet. Jason dived away as the grenade went off. Then he was on his feet and his ears were ringing so loud the he couldn't even hear the sound of the assault rifle firing, only the dull thud it made against his shoulder as he unloaded the weapon at the imposing figure.

The samurai quickly shielded himself from the bullets as much as he could, pushing his arms together to protect his head and abdomen as the bullets ripped through his armor and flesh and then dove to the ground, getting out of the range of fire... it looked more like he had collapsed. He was peppered with a couple of bullet holes... but once the barrage was over, he stood up... "Is that all you've got?" He asked giggling softly. "Would you look at my armor? You've tarnished it, you'll have to pay for this." He said... this thing... it didn't even cry out in pain... it didn't even sound as if it were in pain... it drew its katana and rushed forward quickly.

Jason parried with his knife and moved to the side, but he was at a disadvantage. He didn't have time to reload his long gun, and he wouldn't be able to get his pistols to bear in time to do anything. At least he knew the thing wasn't impregnable. It was just very hard to injure.

The sweeping arc of the blade caught his bicep at a point where it wasn't covered in armor. Hot blood started running down his arm and it hurt to hold on to his gun.

He started carefully toward the only door in the room, not dropping his guard.

The samurai stayed in front of him, his katana in front of him... if he dropped his guard for but a second, he'd strike... He stayed a few feet away from him. "Run all you wish, but know this, I will catch you and make you pay, it'll be oh so fun when I do catch you... oh the screams will be glorious!" He said, he giggled.

"You are insane..." Jason said. Then he yanked open the door and dropped another flash bang as he slipped out, then slammed the door shut behind him. "You'll have to catch me first!"

As the words left his throat and at the same time as the grenade went off, a steel girder beam came crashing into his chest, knocking him back through the door and breaking it out of the frame, and throwing him against the back wall, stunned and winded. His chestplate had taken most of the blow, but he would have a large dark bruise in the morning, supposing he lived through the night.

He sucked down a breath, gasping, and tried to get up. He was dazed and his vision was recovering from the grenade. He had dropped his SIG and Knife, but his assault rifle was still slung on his shoulder, and his desert eagle was in its holster. He reached for it, hoping he'd be able to bring it to bear before the psycho got to him.

The samurai had the common sense to cover his eyes when he heard the clinking of the flash bang. The same trick wouldn't work twice. The samurai knew that it had gone off by the loud bang and the sudden ringing in his ears. He looked around the room, he saw that the door had been broken and saw Jason against the back wall, reaching for the pistol, a desert eagle in its holster. "Ah, ah, ah." He said, he walked forward and grabbed Jason by his hair and smashed it against the wall, he grabbed the Desert Eagle and tossed it over his shoulder. "You could have made this oh so much easier..." He said.

He dragged the dazed man across the room and quickly put his wrists and ankles into the restraints, he noticed that they were damaged, probably from the fool's earlier barrage... oh well they didn't need to stay for long. He picked up the hacksaw and turned it on. "Hm... I think I'll make you quadriplegic... but of course, you won't live long enough to know how bad of a quality of life you'd have." He said, then he suddenly swung it close to his face, nearly touching his nose. "But of course, I think I'd rather see how this would splatter your brains all over this room!" He said, he pulled it back and thrust it forward... and then stopped once more before it touched his nose. Jason could just barely hear beeping, he could hear it clearly once the hacksaw had been turned off.

"Oh phooey, you've wasted all of my time, it was going to be beautiful to see your blood fly everywhere and paint this room red!~" He said, he suddenly turned it back on and sliced through the strap attached to the assault rifle. He caught it before it fell to the ground and set the hacksaw aside. He walked around and collected his equipment. "Well for being a bad boy, I'm taking your toys away... but I'll be nice." He set his pistols after removing all but one bullet in each on the table. "By the end of this night, you'll long for death, perhaps you'll even kill others out of mercy, knowing what lies within." He said, a cruel tone in his voice.

He then placed a small penlight on the table. "To replace what I'm taking from you, after all, it's very dangerous to go walking around in the dark without a light... if you even get out of that." He chuckled, he turned on the penlight... it wasn't as great as the light I was taking... and... it clearly chirped out 'You're going to die!'. He set it down, letting out a soft chuckle and then ran his hand across the blade of his knife. "Oh, do be sure not to forget about this... it's a lovely knife." He said, he slammed the knife into the wall right next to his head, the blade close enough to scratch his cheek. "I'll be back to check on you later." He said, he chuckled softly and pulled away. "Perhaps the third floor would be a good place to store these..." He muttered as he walked out of the room, leaving Jason alone.

“They’re noisy. They’re just too noisy, the lack of moderation on these people is a quite an offense to my senses” Stated an arrogant man on his mid thirties dressed with an expensive blue suit, a white shirt, golden necktie. Despite of his business like appearance his hair reached to the neck’s base and long bangs covered his forehead, he wore also a blue fedora ornamented with a golden feather and a pair of glasses with golden frames to match.

“…..” A silent reply came from a short woman with a pale skin, despite being on her thirties the woman’s appearance made her look way younger. She wore a white and golden dress fitting of the Victorian era and a notorious golden ribbon ornamenting her neck. Her eyes were dull and her hair long and light blond.

The man with the fedora stood while fixing his glasses and said. “Your silence had always been a sore company”

The woman limited to play with her ribbon while maintaining her dull, empty expression.

“Right…uuum you picked a bad day to come to the mansion brother…” mumbled in a monotone tone.

“It had to be done today for the man is here, yet is such a headache, I have a family to take care of and yet here I am in an old house filled with a pack of idiots” Stated the man.

“Uuum…. We go now?....” mumbled the woman.

“Not yet, first we talk to the man” Stated.

The pair wasn’t close to the group yet they were in a different part of the mansion. The two were in a basement corridor that connected with the back entrance and move to a spacious area that despite being just a basement was carefully decorated.

He looked at one of the corners in the room.

“I just wonder how many of these camera were hidden in this mansion” stated with a smile while fixing his glasses.

“Problem Solver!!!” Exclaimed the man to the corner.
“Do you think it’s nice to break into someone’s else house and fill it with filthy and noisy traps and games? You certainly lack any concept of elegance” stated

“Brother… this is boring…” mumbled the woman with her usual monotone tone.

“For once I agree with you” Replied the man then once again he directed to the corner of the room.

“The thing is, I have a Problem that needs Solving” stated.

Jacks yelled out into the darkness,"DAMN RIGHT I DID SKIPPY!"

She re-cocked her gun, and put in a few more bullets just in case another attacker came up behind her. She stayed close to the walls and tiptoed her way through subtly placed booby traps. In fact when she did come around said bear trap she picked up a vase and dropped it so a loud snap would prove how bones stood no chance to the thick metal clamps. She was almost beginning to get bored when she heard a loud crash and the grunts of fighting men. She smirked making her way towards the noise when suddenly the noise went quiet. When she reached the hallway right above the basement she peered down into the empty wall. The coppery smell of blood wafted up into her nostrils and she looked around obviously curious.

She smirked pulling out her guns and hoped to hell that there was a room of armed mercenaries. She took a step forward and fell down her boots hitting the ground hard as she held her guns out and yelled loudly,"MEET YOUR DOOM..JACKS MURDERESS EXTRAORDINAIRE..IS..WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYBODY!?!"

She groaned as she looked around the empty room, noticing the chucked weapons and the hacksaw on the table. She then noticed a bruised and beaten Jason hanging on the wall. She took a step forward when a wave of dissiness hit her and she leaned against the table to regain focus. "Fucking bastard.." She felt the wetness of the cloth against her neck and growled. She pulled out a gun and let off two shots into the wall before putting the pistol end against the skin, burning it as best she could. It would probably become infected later but it was better then bleeding to death. She gripped the table her eyes filling with moisture as she gripped the chainsaw. After a few seconds she removed the gun and put it back into her holster before turning to look at the cop. She wiped her eyes and gave a loud sigh before walking over and lifting up his head to see if he needed medical attention.

A second later she broke through the restraints and pulled him over to a soft area. She looked him over quietly before speaking in quick tone,"Yo..Handsome..Wake up! I know you just had the shit beaten out of you, but unless you wake up you can't save the small one. She needs you."

Jacks pulled off her jacket and placed it under his head as she groaned, taking off the mask and chucking it to the side,"Don't even know why I'm helping you. Don't even know why I'm helping any of you...people..I hate cops. You know that. I hate them. They play this role as the white fucking knights of the city..the hero's coming to save you when your in trouble. You know the first cop I ever met was named Barry. He was forty years old and the first time I met him he was banging this 9 year old girl who went by the name of Angela. The reason I know this is because I killed little Angela the next night in order to earn a ham sandwich."

She sat up and picked up the hacksaw, her eyes going cold as she felt a cool breeze blow across her bare shoulders,"Barry bought that sandwich, and Angela. Her hero fucked and paid for her death. I should put a bullet in your brain for even make me think of her but I won't. You probably didn't hear anything I said anyway, but you did."

She turned her attention to the one camera in the room,"I'm sure you're wondering what happened to Barry. Well unluckily for him a sexy little fifteen year old came to his house in a girl guide's outfit, and made his wife watch as she stabbed 37 knives into his body, and then blew his fucking brains out. You hurt that little girl, and I will double the amount of pain you will ever experience."

She blew the camera a kiss then turned back to the injured man on the floor,"Okay...let's get you up and at em Sparky. I want taco bell for dinner."

here were several gentle knocks on Milly’s door followed by Tom's voice. "Excuse me...." He said softly. "Are you awake Milly?" He hears a yawn. "Ya, am now...hey Tomy." He opened the door half way and poked his head through the crack. “I’ve got some bad news.” He sighed.

But he kept a smile on his face. "I'm afraid we may have to leave soon." She jumps up excitedly. "Does that mean I get to see mom again!?" She says dashing to the door, kicking the ps4 controler out of the way, and jumping up and down in front of him.

"It depends." He said simply. "If I win or lose."

"Huh?" She tilts her head not understanding. "lose what?"

“Well.” He said with a grunt. “Your aunt Tina is here and she brought some rather angry friends with her, I believe that it won't end well for anyone if we were to stay here.” A frown spread across his face. "You're just a kid....don't think you'd understand."

"Aunty is here?" her eyes go wide with excitement. "Aunty! Aunty I'm coming!" And suddenly she bolts forward with great excitement. “Your aunty is already here.” He said. “She’s actually come to rescue from me.” He admitted freely. “So….bad things will probably start happening soon.” He said his hand reaching out and latching on the back of her shirt, stopping her.

She looks up at him, "rescue me? But...but your so nice?" Slowly a part of her innocence gives way as the realization reaches her young mind.

This man he was the bad guy....

And suddenly those happy trusting eyes shrink into terrified, trembling marbles. She looks at him as if he were a monster and screams "Let me go! I want to see my aunty! Aunty Tina I'm over here!" She kicks him in the groin trying to break free.

The Problem Solver jerked in pain released her as he collapsed into his knees, pain shooting through his crotch. "Stop!" He shouted through barred teeth. "Stop!" He scrambled after her his face ghost white. "No!"

She can barely see. It doesn't matter she dashes as fast as her legs can go. "Aunty aunty aunty! I'm over here! I'm over here!" She cries at the top of her lungs. "Help me!"

    'SNAP'

Was the sound that cut off her cries, her leg being crushed by a bear trap....its jaws slicing through skin and crush bone of her thin leg, warm blood already beginning to seep out onto the steel contraption. The Problem Solver eyes widened once he reached the scene.

"Oh God...." He muttered. "Fuck!" He snapped. looking at the twisted shocked and painful expression the girl's face.

She shreiks, panicing, crying and then shreiking again her voice piecing the air.

"Shit!" The solver was on her in seconds using what strength he had to pry the trap open to free her leg. "Ohgodohgod," He breathed staring at her mutilated nearly made vomit come spewing out of his mouth.

    "Pull it out!"

Slowly she crawls back inching out her foot from the trap. But she doesn't stop there, she crawls to the far side of the wall and curls up all but of injured leg, which lays stretched out. She screams in agony. "I want my Mooom!"

The Problem Solver's mouth hung open in a shocked expression the blood from the little girl covering a section of his shirt.

    What had he done?

    ........God forgive

    And he stared

Stared at the panicked crying girl.....it was.....it was time to do what's right.

    He swallowed.

"Its gonna be okay." He said softly kneeling down and patting her head, he clicked on his speaking device.

    ---

“I’m in the basement.” The Problem Solver’s voice sounded throughout the speakers in the house. “The game’s over…..the girl she’s hurt bad.” He sighed. “Hurry and we are in the hall to the left and careful of the bear t-." The Solver let out a surprised breath and his voice cut from the speakers.

    It didn't matter though

They'd gotten his message Tina with the others close behind were already racing towards the basement.

    ---

The Solver slumped against the wall…..three throwing knives had been buried into his gullet, his mouth gaping even further then it had before. His eyes shifting left down the hall to the sounds of heavy footsteps thumping towards him.

A man stood in front of him.

    An all to familiar one.

It was that bastard who was responsible for this mess in the first place, The solver gritted his teeth going for his gun but another blade pierced his hand with incredible speed. "Shit!" He snapped.

The redhead smiled. "Thanks for the help Tom." He said. "Or should I call you the Problem Solver?" He shrugged. "That's not my name." He muttered blood falling out of his mouth. "I'm no problem solver.....this ....just please." He muttered tears stinging his eyes. "Leave that girl alone and leave them alone."

Redhead ignored him turning his attention to the screaming girl on the floor and slowly making his way over to her.

    ---

Tina was the first in the hall her gun drawn and the first to see the carnage.

Stella who was coming up behind her let out a gasp at the scene, Nick turned away and The Valentine kept a stoic composure. A blood soaked Problem Solver resting against the wall knives sticking out of him.

A bloodied bear trap and a pool of blood not far from him.....but no Milly

The screams of a girl arguing with the man could be heard through the speakers, and then the arrival of the group.

The pale woman mumbled in a monotone tone "He is not answering brother..."
The man with the fedora sighed "It seems we won't be able to use him."
"Shall we go and check?" said the woman.
"That would imply being involved with the troop of idiots" replied the man.
"But.... it sounds as if they have some hired people.... we could just recontract them, like uuum..... paying them more." stated the woman.
"I'll rather avoid that man. I'm apparently his target."
"..... All right.... I suppose I'll have to go.... what a bother" claimed the woman while playing with her ribbon and then she left the room.
"Watch out your step. I would feel ashamed if my sister were to be idiot enough to fall into one of these bear traps".

    ------------------------------------

A minute later the woman had arrived the bloody scene. A man pierced by knives, a bleeding girl and the group.

Let's see how to get close... thought while playing with her ribbon.
That's right, I have this.......... brother's overconfidence can be troublesome sometimes...

The woman coughed a little behind the group so they could notice her, even with that she maintained her distance.
She produced what seemed to be a small white bag from her purse, a first aid kit.

"You can use this.... if you want to" mumbled.
"Uuum... right.... what's going on in my mansion?" asked feigning a confused attitude.

    Another Problem for Another Solver

Tina was doing her best not to panic, her heart seemed to pound so loudly it drowned out all other sounds. She approached the pool of blood. It was far to big for her comfort. Milly was small, if she lost much more... Tina's hands shook despite her best to keep calm. "Where...where is she..." Think, Tina, Think. Now is not the time to panic.
She took several deep breaths and rubbed her eyes then began to look for clues. She just needed a blood trail.

The solver coughed several times grabbing Tina's attention.

    He was alive!

"Hey...." He muttered forcing a smile through blood stained teeth."

"WHERE IS SHE!?" Tina grabbed his collar, giving him a hard shake. "Who took her!?"

"The.....the.....Problem Solver" he muttered. With a weak breath. 'Took her."

"But..." To this point she had thought he was the Problem Solver. Now it was looking like he was just another pawn in this sick game. "WHERE...did...he...take...her!?" She demanded enunciating every word.

"D...don't....know just told me to mess with you all....bring the girl here...." The 'solver' said. "So...sorry....love kids....just my family, he said he'd hurt them....and now Milly....is...."

Tina released the Faux-problem solver. Sweat trickled down her face. "Ok...your best guess. Where would he take her?"

"I....really don't know Sharp." He said his voice getting lower. "I've just heard him mention a few things......Kentucky, a man named Shep.....something about that crash.....I don't know it was all jumbled, I don't know what any of this had to do with me or my wife." He sniffed tears welling up in his eyes.

Tina turned away from him. She was beyond feeling sympathy for this man. The ONLY thing that mattered right now was Milly. She went back to her original idea, looking for a blood trail. He would've had to get her out of there fast, little time to bandage her or hide traces of blood. She just needed to find it.

The fake solver's eyes drifted over to the others.......and the two new comers. He smirked at the med kit. "No....I'm finished." He said shutting his eyes. "Get the girl back. Tell my family I'm....so...sorry." And just like that he slipped away.

Tina never found a trail of blood .....but how? Even strangely though she found a crumpled piece of paper with droplets of blood on it. She unfolded the paper.
    ---
To whom this may concern, most of all my dearest Tina, I should specifically mention that I was contracted by multiple people.

    BUT

In this case first and foremost I was hired by Kubi Sharp (please see her for more details) to rescue her daughter and also keep her friends safe from the Problem Solver, now that the task is complete Milly will remain in my custody till further notice.

    Call ya later.....

    P.S

    I solved the problem.
    ---

Tina crumpled the note in her hand. She felt like crying. All this...only to have her kidnapped by someone else. Why, Kubi...I was so close. She rubbed her tired eyes, her wounds aching. She looked at the group that had accompanied her, feeling defeated. "Its over...she's been taken by someone else." Not waiting for replies she took her leave.

Stella swallowed at the carnage her eyes stinging with tears.

    That poor girl…..

Her eyes drifted over to the dead Problem Solver, blades sticking out of him his head slumped down. That might have been one of the more gruesome death’s she’d ever seen. And now another man bearing the same name had come and pried Milly from their grasps.

Stella gritted her teeth following Tina along outside, not able to look upon the scene any longer.....

“Shit.” Nick muttered his gaze from the scene but to Karla “You.” He limped up to her. "We didn't know you still lived here.....hell." Nick pointed at the Problem Solver. "This man kidnapped Kubi's daughter we came here to get her back."

Nick's shoulders slumped. "Turned out about as well as it always does.....fucking bastard." He spat on the corpse.

"Not sure how he got in here though..."

"...." The woman, Karla Dietrich, wore a puzzled expression in front of Nick.

"You know me?.... who are you?" asked...
"Uuuum, doesn't matter really..... " She walked toward the dead corpse and poked it's eyes.

"Dead......." mumbled while playing with her ribbon with her free hand.

She sighed and turned to Stella and The Valentine. "I've seen you before.... you are that famous actress ..... You were at Wilhelm's class no?.... Oh right, you were Roxy's big sister...... uuum..... haven't seen her in 16 years, is she fine?" mumbled, she then looked at the tall man.
"Do you happen to.... uuum.... take dangerous jobs under a good payment?" Asked the woman.
The Valentine threw her a stern glance. "I'm currently busy" said abruptly with a cold tone.

This woman is here, she probably knows where I can locate her brother thought The Valentine for a moment.

Karla however turned and mumbled to herself "Uuuum... we lost Problem Solver....... And this man is not up for the job"

But he is not the real Problem Solver... Thought once again glancing at the body. She had never seen the real one, thus she didn't knew his appearance, but she did heard bits of the group's conversation.

"I'm interested in Problem Solver, or any person who could do a good dangerous and probably uuuum, what's the word? Dirty? Job...... do any of you happen to be one or know one?" asked the woman playing with her ribbon, never smiling, never showing any expression, and her eyes dull as usual.

Stella paused and turned back around giving Karla a double take.

    Roxy.

    She’d mentioned Roxy.

Stella nodded remembering this strange newcomer’s face. “Roxy is….um fine….you were in her class right?” Her voice turned at Karla’s other question. “I’m afraid we can’t assist you in the matter.” She said simply

Nick shrugged. "Nah.....not really our thing, well mine anyway."

    Karla sighed.
"I'll need to catch that Trouble Solving guy then" mumbled.

However the woman felt curious about the event and thus she asked.

"What's famous actress doing in my mansion with a bloody dead corpse? Uuuum..... Right, Kubi was it?, her daughter got captured.... but.... is it smart for a public figure to show up in these scenes? they are like uuuuum..... Right!, like a banquet for any Paparazzi.... Also accompanied by shady people" She took a glance at The Valentine.

Stella nodded. “That is true.” She sighed. “But a little girl needed our help but …” Stella frowned. “I think it would be best if I went then. If you have any questions you'll have to come along or find us later.” And she did just that Stella departed along with Tina, Nick and The Valentine not far behind.

Stella had Jacks report back to her.

Neither Jacks nor Jason were able to find the maniac samurai whom had attacked Jason, he’d simply vanished.

Departing the mansion was simple enough they’d left through the front, no press was there to greet them as they had been at the reunion, hotel and Kubi’s house. Instead just the dead of night......cold dead night.

    ---

The hospital didn't seem as active as usual in fact it was downright still save for the nurses whom were making their ways up and down the halls.Tina leading the group towards Kubi’s room with Stella at her side, time to deliver the …..bad news not to mention see what was with this New Problem Solver and Kubi….and the letter.

    ---

Kubi’s hospital room door was pushed open slowly to find her in bed like they’d left her and Max by her side. The grim looks on the faces of Nick, Stella and Tina were very telling at the type of conversation was about to be had.
