Same here. I'm very envious of snow days. Luckily we've had a couple of warm weeks so snow isn't really a problem anymore.

Wow! That's amazing. It must have taken a lot of work to arrange and perform that.

i dread to think how long he took to do that, he did one for One Winged Angel (Sephiroth's Theme from Final Fantasy VII) that was at least 23 different sections, and was over 7 minutes long, suffice to say its awesome

The only thing I've learned from watching the short promotional videos provided by the universities during televised college sporting events is that all the women who attend college in this country seem to be smoking hot.

My cat is in 30 min of crazy mode. He's running at my dog from various corners, making crazy noises, running sideways in halloween kitty stance with poofy tail. Crazy cat. :)

You have to learn to hide your meth where the cat can't find it! :p

(Just kidding. I know you don't do meth. But maybe your cat does!)

Yeah, my cats get pretty crazy too sometimes. Mostly it's Kip (aka possessed cat) that'll suddenly start running up and down the hallway, in the middle of the night, or take a flying jump and end up at the top of the curtain or a beam, looking down as if it's the most normal thing in the world. She's also fearless, walking in a narrow gutter at 50 ft high is fun for her.

Sigh, I'm so tirrrred. This week is nothing but long days. Starting a writing/illustrating project with a group of 6th graders tomorrow, gonna make a school newspaper/magazine. Should be fun, just not entirely sure how it's gonna work out. I'll have to wait and see, I guess.

That fast has actually been going really good this year. I haven't been waking up early to eat anything and it's actually made the whole experience much less stressful.

Just watched the last of the three part TV special of The Casual Vacancy adapted from the J.K. Rowling novel. Is it just me or is there no real story? Some guy dies, the town has an election, some ugly things come out, and then some young person dies in another story thread - only really tangentially connected to the other. All that goes on, and I'm still wondering 'so what?' Also, it seems like just a serious version of Hot Fuzz, and I can't be the only one who has noticed that.

It has made me interested to read the novel at some point, there were some actually rather decent characters in it. I'm just not sure I see the point in it - at least from the TV series.

Also, the journalist who said of it 'biting, blackly comic drama had an elegiac feel with a cartoonish sense of the absurd' is really pretentious. And I don't know what he was watching to call it 'comic'.

OK, what just happened? I wasn't able to get on all afternoon because there was an error page saying I was forbidden from the site and now it's back on. Weird. :confuzled: Was there an upgrade to the site or something?

Good to know I haven't been banned...My poetry is that bad.

On a more serious note, I think it was an issue with the site. Look at the time stamps on the most recent posts, they're hours apart, and we all know that none of us can be quiet for that long....

Yeah, it must've been something with the site. Looks like it's fixed now. :D

And don't worry, your poetry isn't so bad that we'd ban you or kill the site. We'd just help you improve on it.
