The lemon juice one was brill! That made me LOL!

Seriously, though, he should've wore a mask and dipped his fingertips in hairdresser strength perm lotion as apparently, this renders your fingerprints undetectable (for a short length of time).

For my username, I just mismatched my real name with my maiden name and left a few letters out. At first I was going to be K.Trian, but I was worried it would be confused with @T.Trian's name, so I modified it a bit.

It could also suggest my real name is Kate Ryan... But it's not. :p

I have a ladybird gif which I wanted to use as my avatar. Unfortunately, once I'd registered and tried to upload the avatar it wouldn't work and I was stuck with the name. Hmmm must try again.

Just my name. Nothing more exciting than that, unfortunately.

I was getting all fancy with photography business names and what not, wanting to really get into that and then decided, in the end, to just shorten my middle+surname and whack 'em on the end of my first. Pretty darn boring.

It's a play on The Spoken Word. But I was high while I made it and thoroughly enjoy smoking, and voilĂ .

Kind of just fit. I like darkness. Rarely go anywhere, and overall elusive in my solitude in the middle of nowhere. On top of the fact that I feel ugly and unwanted by the outside world (despite what they really know). Also want to use it as a pen name, because why the hell not.

My mother tells people my job title is "tenderiser" (it's "tender writer" or, more accurately, "bid writer") and that amuses me.

    My surname is Hatter.

How many times in my life, when I've told somebody my name, do you think they've replied "As in, as-mad-as-a-"? Then I have to laugh and say, "You got it!"?

    I'll give you a clue... It's a lot.

A siphuncle is a membrane that lines the flotation chambers of certain cephalopods (cuttlefish, nautilus), across which gases are pumped to allow the animal to regulate its buoyancy in the water column :geek:

I've been told that I sigh a lot, I like funk (especially featuring slap bass), and cephalopods are my favourite animals, so the word jumped out when I first heard it (also, it contains an element of my real name). Although I'm not an uncle.

If that seems bizarrely obscure, sometimes the username is already taken :superconfused::cry:

I was going to be funny and refer to it as a 'pen name', but you guys are right - that would have been totally inaccurate, because while the flotation chambers in a squid are vestigial within a structure called the 'pen', squid don't technically have a siph--... oh, you all left.

I didn't choose the daemon life; the daemon life chose me.

(Really, though, my name is a reference to three things that interest me: one of the cooler points of Greek mythology, one of the great thought experiments in physics, and one of the fundamental concepts in software. And I like how it sounds. Unfortunately, though, people usually mispronounce it as "day mon". (It is just pronounced like "demon".) And it is usually already taken when I try to use it on a website, so I have to use some variation like "daem0n" with a zero. Oh well, you can't always get what you want.)

It's a reference to Breakfast at Tiffany's. She refuses to name her cat because she doesn't want to take ownership of anything, and she has too much respect for it to force herself on the thing.

She calls it a no-name slob at one point, after saying that maybe one day she'll grow up, settle down, and give the cat a name.

    I relate to this. :)
