Hey there! I'm Bruce, and like everyone here I'm an aspiring writer! I've just recently started on my writing project, and I'm still in the plotting phase. I was talking to a friend about my novel and he said I should join a forum, so here I am! A little bit about me! I'm 21 and I was introduced into reading in my fifth year of school when my dad encouraged me to buy an actual novel from Scholastic instead of those nifty little toys and Captain Underpants books. I took some time out to try and figure out what to buy and my eye caught a book called Vampirates and I was instantly intrigued. I mean, vampires and pirates! To my young mind the book was the best thing ever, and from then on I've been pretty much addicted to reading books. And as you can imagine the longing to make a book of my own followed shortly, but up until a couple of weeks ago, it was only something of a hobby not something I took very seriously. So, that's me! I look forward to chilling with y'all and also getting awesome tips on how to perfect my craft and stuff!
Hi! I started reading around the same age that you did. I randomly grabbed a book off the shelf of my English class and it turned out to be the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, book three of the Chronicles of Narnia. Apparently it was a good starter, because since then I haven't stopped reading for thirty years. They say that the best writer is a reader and I believe that to be true. I look forward to reading your stuff.
