My $120 flu vaccine return was found after all. It was received by the manufacturer 2 months ago. Yay! Post office never once scanned the tracking number into the system.

    YOU HAVE CHOSEN 'Yes'.

PLEASE DO NOT OPERATE ANY MOVING VEHICLES.

    ENJOY.

Are they all lazy, and quite possibly drunk? I thought it was, y'know, Post Office Lesson #1 to scan the tracking number into the system? o_O

Ah well, good thing you've got it now.

I have no clue what the issue with the scanning is. Sometimes things only show up as 'tracked' when "out for delivery" and that can be many days after I dropped them off at the post office.

But now that this item turned up, the post office has only lost one game I shipped. Makes me feel better. I need not worry yet that lost packages are becoming a habit.

I'm happy that NBC, Macy's, Cheryl Burke, Thomas Roberts, and, yes, even Flo Rida are dissociating themselves from Donald Trump. One can only hope that the entire country can dissociate itself from him.

I met the student adviser for Eastern Kentucky University and he REALLY wants me to go there. My decision on where to go to school is getting even more difficult. School at EKU starts August 24th and school at Cumberland starts August 28th.

Well, it's been a while since I was on here. So, a brief update.

Decided to wait until next year to cycle across Canada, it just wasn't financially viable this year.

My freelance travel writing has somewhat taken off. I'm now published somewhere that isn't my blog, and a local cycling webzine that I write for, for free. :D

This piece was published in October, and was my first-ever paid article that I'd written and done the legwork for myself. The others being for someone else's website, via Odesk. A second interview piece featuring Mike Ranta will soon be published in Canoe & Kayak in the US, along with another interview piece of mine, featuring Scott Mestrezat, a man who stand-up paddled the Missouri River. Then, either late this year, or early next year I will receive my first-ever print publication, as that second interview piece featuring Mike Ranta will also appear in OuterEdge Magazine in Australia. :) Along with a second interview piece about an intrepid Northern Canadian adventurer... But I wouldn't want to give too much away.

Very, very happy right now. :)

I'm pretty happy after talking to the head of the Criminal Justice department And I just need to do something like 32 credit hours at Eastern Kentucky to get a degree. I also only need 18 hours for my minor in psychology but I've already taken some classes.

Funny enough, I'm eating hamburgers right now.

I'm also going to prepare for the loud fireworks that will continue for at least a week after the Fourth.

I'm staying home to sit with my dogs that freak out over explosions and thunder. My smaller dog freaks out if I say the word, kaboom.

And with our tinder dry conditions and 90F heatwave, I want to stay home with the hose ready incase any bottle rockets land on the roof. Though anyone shooting them off is going to get a police report. All the neighbors are on alert.

I remember going outside just when a firework went off. The dogs and I hauled ass back inside pronto.

How the hell do none of us go deaf at the sound of it? o__O

That certainly helps explain all your poetry comp medals :D

Do you discuss your poetry experience, mastery or publishing success anywhere? I would like to learn more about potential opportunities, market, etc?

I put in my first volunteer application for the local LGBTQ organization. I'm so excited to get started and to finally surround myself by like-minded people.

Who would've thought that just letting your own characters tell the story for you rather than the other way around would make writing so much fun!! I'm actually excited about my fantasy now! I actually feel a desire to write it after I *gasp-eth* allowed my characters to decide what their stories were going to be.

Now I'm going to do the same for my sci-fi and historical mystery!

And yes, it took me this long to figure it out. :confuzled: I'm kind of an idiot.
