Super long loading times

When the pages load at all, about half the time they just go back to the home page. The alerts dropdown is also not working, and replying to a post is hit an miss, sometimes the text is loaded, sometimes I get a java error. It's not the fault of any of my addons, and I've just updated java to no effect.

 

Try clearing the browser's cookies and cache. It should hopefully fix the problems.

Other things that have not worked:

• Running windows updates
• Scanning with anti-virus
• Updating flash
• Checking for browser updates
• Running writingforumw.org in another browser
• Running writingforums.org in another other browser

 

The plot thickens. This problem only occurs when I'm logged in to the site. If I'm logged out I have no difficulty accessing any page.

 

It happens to me and Komposten as well on occasion, especially through Chrome. If I access the site through the TorBrowser (yeah, I know...), it usually clears up, but not always.

 

The problem appears to have gone away on its own. You can stand down the engineers boys.
