In case anyone was wondering what ringlets are:

 

I wish I had ringlets. My hair is super straight, lol. I'm really proud of our collab, though. I like how Vetiver and Merrique are opposites.

Just as a friendly note... Mixine does not like being touched and is prone to inadvertently releasing her power if surprised, threatened or provoked. Behind that smiling mask is a girl afraid to be touched. She is likely to continue disguising herself as a male and will remain on the fringe of any group - her companionship limit is singular for several reasons.

 

Merrique may not touch Mixine, but she will definitely befriend her!

 

Introducing...Acai Blackwood.

Biography: Acai Blackwood was the runt in a large family. His eight older brothers and his father were huge, muscular warriors and even his mother was strong enough to fell a tree with one swing of her axe. Acai was small and weak, and would much rather spend his time reading than learning to be a warrior. Because he was different, his family constantly teased him and his brothers would occasionally beat him up to "teach him how to be a man". And when he complained to his father, his father would beat him up, too.

When Acai hit puberty, he began showing signs of having magic. He could fix broken things, find lost possessions, and move small objects with his mind. His family finally started to believe that he was worth something and paid for a local witch to come by everyday to teach him how to use his budding magical powers. But unfortunately, it soon became clear that Acai's powers had already peaked and that he was never going to be a great sorcerer. His family laughed viciously when they found out and called him nasty names.

That very night, Acai packed a bag and left, vowing to go into the Tarnished City and find a relic that would make him a great sorcerer.

 

Unfortunately Earphone's got a busy schedule, but hopes to come in mid-December. I'm placing Inks in charge of making sure his character doesn't die. In better news, once the characters are asleep, I can get to work. Muhahaha.

I've decided to try an idea of imbalanced information. Some of the characters may understand or see things that others do not.If I put a character's name in brackets above a post, they can see it or understand, if not, best hope they share. This could be because of language, access to magic or a relic, or maybe something else.

 

Sounds cool, hehe.

I got creative with my maiming. Erik, Merrique is stuck without magic. Whether she get's it back is down to choices people take within the RP.

Though I just realized I have been calling Vetiver... "Veltiver" Freudian slip? You decide. Finding it hard not to imagine him as a pimp.

 

@Inks, wait, what is WIS? I googled it and the definition I got didn't make sense in the context you're using it. And why is Vetiver a pimp? I'm so lost, lol.

@halisme, I meant the relics she already has, like her silk shoes that let her as light as a feather so she can jump long distances, or her inexhaustible quiver, or her magic ring. I was waiting to reveal what the ring does, but now I don't know if she can use it or not.

Lol, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew about Merrique's vision so everyone could figure it out together. And I see what you mean about Vetiver, with his rings...and gold amulet...and purple cape.

Lol, in my opinion, without Merrique's powers the rest of the group is also at a disadvantage. I also wonder if Vetiver will help the rest of the group if they are attacked, seeing as they neglected to help him. It would be interesting if he just watched out of spite. But I like this vision thing with Merrique, I wonder what she's going to see next.
