Yo. I need someone who played all three games to shoot me a message. I have a writing related question and could use your input. Thanks!

All three games (plus the combat racing spin-off and Daxter on the PSP) were staples of my childhood. I'm not as into the 'lore' and 'fandom' as some, but I cherish those games and would love to hear any question you have, if you're still interested.

Thanks guys! It's a pretty simple question.

Basically, you know how in the third game (or maybe second.... can't remember which), it's revealed that Jak's real name is Mar? Well there was a lot of speculation that he was the Mar, and he went back in time to create all the cool shit in the games.

Essentially, I wanted to do something like that in my story but was worried it would be seen as stealing.

    That's all. :)

No, I don't think it would be considered stealing. A lot of the fan fiction I've read seems to riff off that speculation somewhat so I'd say you're good. It would lead to some interesting plot lines I'm sure. Go ahead, and have fun.
