    TMW...

    • You have a dream where one of your female leads in your story is inexplicably running around topless, and she's flat-chested.

    • You find that you get your jollies from being passive-aggressive to overly-entitled whiners on the internet.

    • You get an extremely old tune stuck in your head, a tune from your childhood but for the life of you, you can't remember what it's called or where you heard it from.

That moment when one of your friends makes a joke about you that strikes too close to home. You feel hurt, get up and leave...

and no one follows to bring you back.

TMW I came out to my parents and they didn't care lol. My mother said she wasn't worried about grandchildren because I have 3 brothers and that she just wants me to be happy. It was a good feeling. Especially since I grew up in a rural area and they have a reputation for being homophobic. People knew I was a lesbian, but no one really cared. It was odd because I grew up in a very religious area.

Wow, my experience was similar, except I had less reason to be worried about bigotry. Cool. I love a real good ending.

I'm guessing the dark power of endless crying.:cry::cry::cry:Small children, particularly babies, use it most sadistically.

TMW you're reading a list of the 10 intriguing discoveries found in mummies on Listverse, and the first one on the list discusses King Tut's erected dick.

Thank you, Listverse. Now that disturbing image is ingrained into my brain. I don't care if the priests did that to make him closer to Osiris or whatever, THAT IS NOT AN IMAGE I WANT!!

That moment when you look at the clock, see its nearing one in the morning, and decide to write just a little bit more before going to bed.

When you check the clock again, it's four in the morning.

TMW you realize that we Americans are a strange people. We'll gladly give everything including our own lives to help one of our own (and our allies if need be), and at the same time we're also capable of verbally ripping each other's throats out over issues that really don't matter in the end. Guess that's the thing all nations experience.

That moment you regret spending $60 for a new game because it is nowhere as exciting as it was made out to be. :meh:

Overwatch. I was just hoping it was more like a MMORPG first person shooter, and instead it is just basically a bunch of team events in different locations. There is no story line or anything. I just heard how great and popular it was, and it was made by Blizzard... I didn't do more research, and that is my fault.

You can have your Man card back if you can tell me where the line came from, "I thought you would be taller."

We've all done it. There's plenty of games I didn't do research on, and when I started playing them I said to myself: "What the..."

Oh now thats just unfair. That's a TV trope of a line! It was in Braveheart, they use a line like that in- what, Road House? Leia does a similar line in A New Hope. This is rigged! I'll never get my man card back!

TMW you realize that outlining your stories on your phone to write it out later is writing.

...I'm very slow and dense at times, I know.

TMW you're talking to someone, and they don't believe the Big Bang happened because "it was just space back then". o_O

That's- wait really? That counts as writing?

See, don't feel bad, I didn't know either. Now we need one more guy and we can be the Three Stooges.

TMW you write nearly 1,000 words into your story, you're loving every minute of it...

Only to find out you've been writing it into the WRONG MANUSCRIPT!!
