    Rant below:

I thought today would be simple. First my dad, my sister and I went to my dad's union building to get some of the remaining tickets to Dorney Park. There was an atm at a store nearby and he went to go use it. He called me saying he left his card in the car, (which he always does for some reason I say keep it for this very reason) and asked me to go get it and meet him. He also suggested that I get some money out of the car in case my sister or I wanted something. So I get the card and six dollars and I don’t know where he is so I was about to call him when I saw him angrily waving for me to come over. When I got to him he was mad that I was just standing around. He thought I had lost his card. When I tried to explain that I stopped only to call him because he didn’t tell me where he was at he ignored what I had to say and demanded that I give him his card back. In the store he asked me call my sister to see if she wanted anything, she didn’t. I brought myself something and then we went to buy the tickets. When we got back in the car he was pissed that I didn’t get anything for him, but he never mentioned or asked me to buy him anything so I assumed he was fine.

We then stopped at Rent a Center to look at the refrigerators, but they were of such low quality that we left. Before we left home he mentioned that we were going to the credit union, but when I brought it up to him while on the highway he said we weren’t, but we went anyway when my sister had to put some money in her account. While going up I said my phone bill is due before I get my paycheck and if he could put some money in my account so I could pay it off. When he said to simply call for an extension I told him I already did. There was a T-Mobile store where were heading and I asked if we could stop inside so I could talk to someone in person, but he insisted I just call them. I had no problem if he wasn't around, but I hate calling people for important reasons when he's in the car because he gets an attitude with me and likes to try make me say what he wants to say because he doesn’t feel that I know what I am talking about. I could hear the representative on the other line because he kept talking. He ended up getting impatient and asked for my phone and then fabricated a reason why I needed another extension. He said to the operator I could pay it off on the 21st (even though I get paid on the 22nd) and that my boss misplaced my check (she didn’t). They gave me the extension anyway, but it still pissed me off.

My little sister put her money in her account and then we went to Ross. I thought we going food shopping afterwards and he did too because he was apparently tired and wanted to get home quickly, but we went there instead. We brought clothes and other stuff. Dad barely helped pick out the cloth for our dining room table, complained a lot and expected us to make most the decisions about what cloth to get while there. My sister had some issue with her card and her and my dad had to sort it out with bank, which pissed my dad off. His lack of patience beyond pisses me off. Turned out it was fine, but because he was busy on the phone we missed the supermarket we were originally going to go to and had to go to a much cheaper one. We had $200 food money and saved $70. After we put the stuff away he wanted us to put up a big mirror which turned out to be a problem all on its own. Our failure to communicate efficiently with each other, as well as being hot and sweaty, really pissed me off, but we were able to hang up the mirror. If I had a chance to be more self-sufficient I would take it. Not that much drama and frustration rather than doing things with others.

Sounds about normal. My son always returns from the petrol stop with five pies, a gallon of juice, a tin of Nourishment, milk and biscuits for one. Sometimes he leaves half an eaten pie behind on the car seat. I sweep up his crumbs, retrieve my cash card. It's tough dealing with you little bastards, much love.

It really does come down to the dependency aspect, doesn't it? As long as you're spending someone else's money, living in someone else's house, it makes sense for someone else to think s/he has a voice in your life. But it doesn't make it any less frustrating to have to put up with it!

Super pissed at all my electronics.

    X-Box One:
Once I figured out you could buy games digitally from the X-Box One game store, I did exactly that, buying games from there rather than the physical copies. Well now today everything is lagging: apps take way too long to load and the three new games I bought from the store take a stupidly long time to install, stopping here and there. I just wanted to play Mirror's Edge and the first two seasons of The Walking Dead.

    iPad
If that weren't enough, the internet on my iPad is now wonky. Pages take too long to load. The connection on my laptop is very poor in my room so I hardly use it, and now I'm forced to use my laptop in the same room as the router to get to the internet.

Why are all the electronics falling apart around me?!! :supermad::supermad::supermad:

Yeah the X-Box One loading games thing sucks. What's even worse, is after you do get the games loaded and think you are about to play... and then it pops up you need like 4 hours of updates.

I have already started and been working on it. Unfortunately for me I live less than a mile away from all my immediate family members. Fortunately though, I know this city is not where I staying forever.

I've had similar probs with the PS4. For me the lag occurred when I was playing older games that I'd downloaded but needed online emulation for. I've also had a few problems with lost save game files upon completion of updates. Now I keep all those on a removable drive, rather the on the console hard drive. That way I can remove the drive prior, just so I'm safe, not sorry.

I had an hour to kill the other day, so I thought I'd play for a while. Despite sticking a game in the drive which had already been fully updated twice, the PS4 insisted in downloading yet another large update, and it was only gonna take... the length of spare time I had to play. *Sighs* Enough with the multiple updates already!

Potty training my two year old is not going well. (And by not going well I mean that I'm going to have to steam clean the carpet in three places)

My goldfish passed away today. I had him for about five years, won him at a street fair, and watched as he grew and changed colors. Even though he wasn't the same as a dog or cat, I fed him daily, and he was there in my life through deaths and weddings. I remember one time feeling very horrible and saying to him in his tank that we're both just doing our best to live. He was a smart guy, would go into the net voluntarily sometimes when I had to remove him to change his water. Didn't overeat lot. Got excited to see me near him when I was near his tank. One of my relatives helped me hook up the electric cables to keep his filter and pump running.

Thanks for being in my life. You were important, more than you know. If you ever are reincarnated, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful new start.

People where I work had a really uncomfortable vibe around them, which kinda freaks me out since I've known them for about 3 weeks and they were all so nice.

I posted a thread in the General Help section of the Zelda Universe forum about how to help my friend stop with his racist thoughts. He knows they're wrong, he wants to do better and I wanted advice from those folks on how to help him.

    One of them, Lucretia, posted:

Wow. She just called my friend a KKK and suggested I cut him from my life and burn every picture I have of him.

I believe people can change if they honestly want to, and if they need help then they need help, not rejection.

I've since reported her post and called her out on it, but something tells me she'll pitch a fit and write a long essay on the politics of racism and how my friend is a horrid racist with no possibility of redemption.

    People.
    Can.
    Change.

If they really want to change, are trying to change and need help, THEY NEED HELP!

I see your point, and I don't know this Lucretia, but it seems to me that you might be reading a little more quickly into her thread than you should have. She does say:

before the whole burning and pissing bit. To me that reads like a poor attempt at saying that they need to keep trying to make the change, but if they fail or fail to keep trying and return to their old racist ways, you should cut contact. Dramatically.

Like I said though, I don't know her or your friend, and I only barely know you, but you've always come across as a decent person here, so consider the fact that Lucretia may have expressed herself poorly.

    Crapbaskets.

Yeah, now I feel like an ass. :( I'm gonna go apologize to her now. I'm too quick to jump the gun and draw conclusions without thinking things through, that's something you probably should know about me. :/

EDIT: K, wrote an apology to her. Hope she'll forgive me.

EDIT II: WOO! She forgave me! :D Let this be a lesson for me.

oh shit. Well, there are plenty of successful treatments out there. The danger is having it go unrecognised. Did you get a tick bite that you know of?

Sorry to hear that. You really appreciated him. Some fish owners just use them for decorative purposes, but you're not one of them. He had a happy fish life, and now, as you say, he's on to pastures new. Or new waterways.

I have run into a wall, caught my hip and funny bone on door knobs, ripped my shirt on the handle of a cabinet door, and my little toe tried to run away and I jammed it against a car jack. -_- I should go huddle under my covers for today.

Public transportation sucks. I was almost late for work because the trains were running slow and when I got off I had to wait an hour and a half in the heat for the next bus to come.

It's almost impossible to comprehend that level of freedom. The ability to go wherever you please. I mean, I could literally drive all the way to California if I wanted to.
