Thats only because gibble banned any naughty behaviour - over in a paralell universe they are busy breeding a demigod wile Aidan sits with his fingers in his ears thinking "you know this isnt as much fun as it sounds"
@gibble410 Could us three (Caer, Aidan and Ben) have something happen or shall we just get there? I didn't want to make any more posts in case you had something planned.
Oh, I was hopeing you guys could make a post about getting their, so you can go ahead and do that. then I can gm for ya. After Malachi posts I will post.
Hey @Domino355 I'm a bit impaitiant. I thought you were dropping out, if u wanna like find the store on your own, that's goods with me!
I think someone needs to read the rules on god modding by the way i'm off work at present so my access to internet is sporadic
Was that supposed to be subtly? And I wasnt, godmodding, it what my magic did. For example, if a bolt of lightning strikes me I can't go: dodges lightning. Also, in recent posts you had no wariness or thought about the gift and leaving it behind. Also no idea when it would activate
Yeah but the basic principal of god modding is that you don't cause significant harm or trouble to another players character without their prior agreement - if you wanted to write a twist where your magic destroys Aidan's weapons then you should have contacted me first. As you didn't have that courtsey, I have no compunction in altering my response so that Aidan is unaffected by 'your magic' having been wise enough to discard it in the forest behind him.
@big soft moose BTW if you brought up the topic of godmodding. I'm pretty sure auto hitting and slaughtering anything in your path without the GM's approval is also considered that.
I agree - but I haven't done that - I tend to assume that if the GM creates a battle sequence permission to slaughter the enemy forces is pretty much a given. Outside of battle aidan has killed only one character created by the GM , the father abbot, and i gave ample in game indication of that intention, where any other character could have said , no don't do that. That said as far as I can tell from the rules the way I've conducted Aidan doesn't fall under the heading of writing a completely invulnerable character per godmodding , it wasnt that long ago that he lost his sword and squared up to a shadow warrior holding only an eating knife and prepared to die. Returning to my original point how would you feel if without any consultation with you Tourmaline cast a spell that stopped faer from being able to shapeshift ... pretty pissed off would be my guess
Argument aside , has anyone seen @zoupskim lately - I'm waiting to see if he or barnie want to go first with the wizards trials before i jump in again
Ive been trying to read all the posts to catch up with developments, but I might have to just hop in blind. Ill post in about 4 hours
Caber is still drinking tea. Also, I sense an argument brewing. So let's settle this. Here's what I'm proposing: So, Aidan didn't appear to have any worries about Tourmalines gift or anything, so it was god-modding when you left it behind, as well as, Domino has a pretty good point I agree with that. As for Tourmaline, she had no intention as to what her gift would do, and why when she was being changed to a raven decide to activate it? So I have come to the decision that we will vote on it. Soft moose and Malachi, and I will not vote. You do not have to vote, but let not have any I'll feeling if you lose, and such. It will only be put into effect if Big Soft Moose and Malachi agree.
Ok, and what about you @big soft moose? If your good with it we can go along, but I dont think it would be a good idea for me to post while theres a debate of who has what weapons and such. Hope you lot are good with it.
Quick question, is Corrin now his dog? It said familiar but Corrin hasn't accepted any animal and Griff is more of a pet.
