I joined recently and never did this part. Born, raised, and still hail from California, San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, to be precise, Reppin' the 408. Being from Silicon Valley has given me a love of Tech, and a dislike of many involved in it. I get to see, on a daily basis, a lot of snake-oil tech people. I like to figure out no or low-tech ways to defeat high-tech. My interests are varied, but I have (finally) learned to write what I really know. Most of the writing I do is little assignments I give to myself; like writing a paragraph and then rewrite it using one word sentences, or write the middle of a story, or a page of opening sentences. One of the tools I use is a plot diagram I looked up in image search and printed a bunch of. It really helps to keep story ideas organized and be able to see them on an arc. I was taught to read at a very young age and have always been a voracious reader; yes, I am that person that reads technical, legal, and medical tomes. Have always been 'creative' using words, paint, chalk, pencil, or whatever else to create things. One of the most fulfilling jobs I have done was running high-end 3D SLS printers. I look forward to having my writing critiqued.
