Hmmmm PS4 I'd say is better then Xbone but no disrespect I used to play the crap out of my 360 and such while also having a PS3. In this current generation I just have my PS4 and maybe a PC later on ....if I can somehow get my hands on one. Sony has a better line up of exclusive developers. Plus if you're into Naughty Dog they have the Uncharted collection, Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us and Last of Us 2 right around the corner and just got Hideo Kojima in their ranks. WITH THAT SAID! Xbox One has been laying down the thunder. They have backwards compatibility with 360 now and they seem to be getting a lot of timed exclusive deals for games I really want to get into. My salty rage is real that I won't be getting my hands on Cuphead and System Shock remaster/remake it seems....I can only pray they get PS4 ports eventually or manage to get that gaming PC. They even got them Fallout 4 console mods first. So while I think PS4 is better ....you can't really go wrong with either and exclusives are pain....wish I could play Halo and Zelda on my PS4 Also you get free games monthly with Xbox Live and PS Plus services
Here is a list of the 2016 XBox One exclusive games. http://www.gamespot.com/gallery/xbox-one-game-exclusives-confirmed-for-2016/2900-434/
It was a hard decision for me too...but just go with your gut. I'm going to go pick up Overwatch now and I'll be on it tonight after work. I'm not sure if PS4 and PC people can play with XBox One people or not, but if anyone wants to add me online, my battle tag is wlewis19769.
Not to mention the sharing feature on Xbone. Me and a friend have been buying games like mad, basically because they're buy-one-get-one-free for us. Honestly been a fantastic experience, up until Battleborn that is. To be honest though, I've been pretty let down so far with the games on this generation. The blockbusters don't seem as.....blockbustery? The only one that's actually lived up to my personal level of hype is Doom.
Oh they definitely can not play together. Microsoft said to Sony they'd be willing to do cross platform play, and Sony basically just went 'That is something we would also like *shifty eyes*' and then - nothing happened. I know Blizzard is talking about it from their end though.
Doesn't Blizzard run the servers? If they want to allow access to the same server by MS and Sony players, it seems like they could do it on their end. Unless they have agreements with MS and Sony to the contrary. On the other hand, if MS and Sony run the servers for their respective consoles, then it'll probably be a cold day in hell before there is cross-platform play of this type.
It's different on consoles. I can't explain it fully, because I don't really understand to the degree that is necessary, but from what I understood it's not blizzard that runs the servers. It's Microsoft and Sony. Blizzard runs the servers for their PC IP's though.
I view Nintendo the same way I view the Democratic party, but the new Zelda looks like it might be worth buying their new system.
Still playing Witcher 3. Holy crap, this game is so awesome! I took a slight break from it to play Wind Waker HD and found that I still suck at it much as I did in its 2003 release. Considering going to Gamestop today to buy Twilight Princess HD. These should give me the Zelda fix until Breath of the Wild is released next March.
So... Who here is playing Pokemon Go? I literally woke up at 5 am and noticed there was a Clefable not far from my condo... What a catch!
What a genius way to get people out of their home. I'm seriously going to start riding around my town with my bike, while playing Pokemon Go. Never had a better excuse to exercise lol
Pokemon Go? What's that? Hehe, did they run out of colors or somethi- *researches* Oh my GOOOODDD!!!!
Uk release was yesterday. Started playing it today. It's surreal wandering round your neighborhood, and seeing all sorts of people wandering around playing the same game.
I've been running into cars stopping in the middle of the road randomly, and a kid runs out of them. At first I thought they were dropping them off, but when the cars weren't pulling away afterwards, I figured they must have been driving their kid around town, playing Pokemon Go. way to defeat the purpose of the game.
Anyone see the recent Nintendo Switch news? Zelda: Breath of the Wild is coming out in March and it's looking pretty amazing. They also announced Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I'm very excited for.
It looks cool, but probably not enough for me to get one. I'm finishing up Rise of the Tomb Raider and hoping to get through another before Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I bought this from Steam's winter sale 'cause I really liked Tomb Raider, but since I'm still struggling through Dark Souls 3, I have to wait until I can go laracroft again. (Reason: I can't retrain my fingers for other button combinations right now or else I'll fail even harder at DS). Okay, well, DS 3 isn't that bad, I think DS 2 is more difficult, but I am kind of stuck in the dungeons of Irithyll right now, and I know I'll be even more stuck when I have to fight the level boss.
Poor me I have all my games Gears of War 4, Skyrim Special Edition, Madden 2017, Halo 5, and Overwatch... and the only one I play is Overwatch.
If anyone here is a fan of Fire Emblem, they just announced some really cool new games coming out soon. It's one of my favorite series, so I'm really looking forward to those.
Yeah, Rise of the Tomb Raider is probably my personal GOTY for 2016. I know, it actually came out in 2015 but I didn't get to play it until it came to PS4. I love that game. Not playing much at the moment aside from the occasional Titanfall 2 match. Definitely curious about Horizon Zero Dawn.
