My name is Paul Kinsella. I live in a small town where the minds are narrow, the waistlines are wide, and the culture is low-brow. It's populated mostly by white people, with just enough minorities to offset inbreeding. I'm a cartoonist and was able to make a children's book that was good enough to land me a contract with a reputable literary agent. But so far we have avoided the corruptible influence of publication. I have made another children's book and a grown-up novel that my agent is currently reviewing.
Welcome! I'm new here, too. It sounds like I grew up in the town you are currently living in. (I'm sorry.) I'm interested in writing a children's book one day ... and wish you much luck in avoiding that influence of publication!
