    Speaking of zero-calorie foods:

Human flesh is not fatty enough for sharks. Most shark bites on human beings are 'test bites' which is how they identify what something is.

Here is a chunk of irony.
My novel and sequel while taking place in a war amongst soldiers,
    is actually anti-war. :p

The earth is estimated to be worth nearly 16 sextillion dollars. If it were sold and everyone got an equal share, we would receive a little over two trillion dollars for it.

Apparently a member of the Zelda Universe forums was a neo-Nazi and had basically outed himself as such in a debate thread. He has been banned, thankfully, but damned! To think I once thought he was a silly dude who liked Skyrim too much...

    Useless? Fascinating:

In the United States, infestation with head lice is much less common among African-Americans than among persons of other races, possibly because the claws of the of the head louse found most frequently in the United States are better adapted for grasping the shape and width of the hair shaft of other races.

Have you ever stayed up late and your eyes got watery? That's because blinking is slowing down when your body is trying to go to sleep. And so you get dust in your eyes.

Lice shut my home town down in 1986 I think. We all got it. Schools closed for over a week. People refused to leave their houses. I still remember my dad rubbing my dome in the kitchen sink with that awful shampoo for like 10 minutes while my sister anxiously awaited her turn. And never mind the chicken pox epidemic of 1984. That was like a zombie apocalypse.

There are anti-theft clips on frames in museums. You can't just walk up and pick an artwork up from the wall like you would with a regular frame at home, it literally won't even bulge from the wall (we use some sort of tool to remove it but it takes time and strength (I am so weak) and as a thief I'm guessing you'll want to hurry).

What thieves usually do instead is cut straight into the canvas with a knife and take it out, just like that.

I'm an art conservation student lol. Had a few 'wtf' moments watching Da Vinci code last night. Maybe it's because I study the stuff but do people really think that you could just walk around the Louvre and pick up centuries old paintings just like that and put it back like nothing happened? That scene where it just falls down on top of him honestly made me crack up. As much as I like the movie you'd think the Louvre would have better resources than just an alarm on priceless artworks, which even a small museum could afford.

NASA had to rename the sizes of the apparatus used by male astronauts to pee in space from small, medium, and large, to large, gigantic, and humongous, because no one was willing to pick their true size.
