    Name Suggestions

I need help naming one of my characters. He's an attorney who I need to have a powerful first name. His last name is Shank, but I am having trouble coming up with a first name that suits him AND flows nicely with Shank. I want it to be a little unusual since the rest of my male characters have rather boring names. He's the opposite of them, so I'd like his name to be, too!

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Branford
    Weston
    Gregory
    Ralph
    Thurgood
    Bernard
    Attila
    Hannibal
    Clarkson

... or you could Google something like "strong names" and see what you come up with.

    Washington Shank
    Lincoln Shank
    Roosevelt Shank
    Jefferson Shank

(you see where I'm going with this. Probably not Bush Shank though. Franklin Shank wouldn't work, because his opponents would shorten it to Frank Shank)

I second 'Frank Shank'. A bit like a second-hand car salesman being 'Honest Ted'

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I'm going to go with Victor or Branford.

are you aware that 'shank' is con-speak for a knife/shiv, or the act of stabbing someone?... as in, 'he hid the shank under his mattress' and 'he got shanked'?
