Hey all, I have a question about if I should use or omit quotation marks when describing a T-shirt. Here's the snippet, and let me know which one is correct: The junior employees didn’t wear the Help Me Help You T-shirts. The junior employees didn’t wear the "Help Me Help You" T-shirts. The text "Help Me Help You" is printed on the T-shirts, if that makes a difference. I'm confused because it seems the quotation marks should be there, but I don't see it on things like Toronto Maple Leafs T-shirt or No Fear T-shirt. But maybe the fact that it's a full sentence or that it's printed on the shirt makes a difference?
I would imagine it is correct to use the quotation marks because you are actually stating word for word, or "quoting", what is on the t-shirts.
