    A.M.P's #SaveGoatBro2015

Discussion in 'Progress Journals' started by A.M.P., Jul 23, 2015.

    Title ... | #SaveGoatBro2015
Genre . | Adult Fantasy in Modern Setting
    Series .| 1 out of 2
    Length | 80-120k Words

My first progress journal helped quite a lot in regards to keep pushing and writing as I felt I owed a post now and then. So, hopefully, this will help as well.

The title may seem strange to you but I found quite a bit of inspiration in Undertale that made a few plots I had floating around really work together as a whole.

The series will be heavily influenced by Slavic mythology and those familiar with it might find a theme or two they recongnize beside character names.

It will be a heavily religious fantasy with a strong gay main character that will deal with homosexuality in modern culture and the fantastic epic of gods literally trying to destroy the world and using him as their tool.

I've been not writing as much as I could/should per day.
So, here is my attempt at getting on the wagon!

    Woke up at like 5am.
    Felt refreshed, strangely enough.

Did so much before work and I even hammered out fifth chapter.
    Hooray!

Why do I keep writing action scenes?
    I suck at them -,-

Thank God this is but a first draft.

Chapter six is a dream sequence that I hope to make good foreshadowing and deepen the slavic flavor of the project.

I'm at the part of the book where I am like "Even I have no clue what I'm doing" :p

It has been a very stressful 2 weeks for me so writing has come down to a crawl.
It was pretty bad, I just stressed over what to write next.

I finally got over it and wrote and it's easy and wonderful.
However, my life is still hectic and I'm very... bummed out, to put it lightly. So, motivation is hard and my focus is entirely on other things.
But, if I want to be a writer, if I want my life to head where I want it to, I just have to do it like my day job. Smile, look pretty, and just truck along no matter how you feel.

Now... if an agent would just reply to a query, that'd be great!
