    A Progress Journal

Discussion in 'Progress Journals' started by Aaron Smith, Jun 17, 2015.

I started a story today that has a lot to tell, and it rolls off my fingers smoothly. It is of the horror variety, perhaps even mystery, but all I know is it's gonna be good.

First/second draft, 2100 words and counting. Wish me luck.

    Sigh, editing.

New novel project. It is evolving well. There is plenty of tension and conflict from the beginning.

I'm laughing my ass off reading this book. It's about the most naive boy in the world and his adventures throughout America. Right now he's walking around New York looking for a drug dealer named Carl who drugged him up on heroin and raped him. The subject matter is so dark, but it comes out so morbidly humorous.

    Working on a short story.

It's hard to write. I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say.
