Hello everyone. My name is Robbie and im an 18 year old from Durham in the UK. I joined the forums so that I could discuss my ideas and get help with putting them down on paper. Im quite good at setting up atmospheres and building characters but not that good at anything else (my grammar and spelling are terrible. I also fall into the too many commas trap). My current project is going to be a low fantasy novel, I hope that I actualy get it finished!

Hi Thoth, welcome to the site. There are quite a few members who could help you with your grammar, but a good place to start would be to check out some of Cogito's many guides; see his blog. Some particularly useful ones are right in his signature. He should be along at any moment. Enjoy your stay!
Thank you for the welcome! it's nice to be in an active forum. And yes Anir Thoth is one of the egyptian gods (or was he a demi-god?) I've sorta taken it up as a regular username in different forms

It is worth taking the time to see what other people have done to improve their writing, and see if some of it applies to your writing as well. That is part of why we require members to review other members' work before posting their own for review.
