A Sense of Drama in Stories

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by Cacian, Jan 20, 2012.

how do you define drama in stories?
    in other word
Is drama important or detrimental or both or none to stories?
If you say it is important then the opposite should apply to.
The reason I say that is because as we know 'there is two side to a story'.
Conflict is two opposite feelings, good and bad, just like humans ( I am told), there is ''a good side and a dark side''.

how do you feel about this sentence?

where does that sentence come from?... if it's not your own words, then you must cite the source...

it sounds like an excerpt from a review, discussing a character and events that affected him...

as for the question, "Is drama important or detrimental or both or none to stories?" you might as well ask if words are important to a story... the very word 'story' implies drama of some kind... even in comedy, there are often dramatic elements included, if only in the 'theatrical' sense...
