    Query

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Charisma, Jul 29, 2007.

I've noticed that in the Poems section, it is particularly mentioned that we should 'beware' of criticism, whereas all other forms of writing are not preceded with a warning. I'm new to this kind of pattern, so can someone let me know why this is so?

It is that way as there has never really been any issues in the other areas of the forum to be honest.
In the poetry section there has been a number of outbursts to do with critique received by people taking it the wrong way.
So that is why the post was made in there. Maybe it would be a good idea to have it in the other sections of the forum, but I have never really seen the need for it anywhere else yet to be honest!

    (Hope that helps)

(Psst. It's because all poets are secretly a little bit whacko.)

No, actually, there have just been more problems in that area than others, so that one was deemed the most worthy of a warning. The others have skimmed under so far, so...yeah.

That really helped Torana and Ivan. I just thought that maybe Poetry is some very disturbed form of writing :p Thanks for answering!

    VERY CORRECT!

It's a good caveat for any of the review rooms. But each description was written separately. I don't know if any particular history lead to that wording in that one place - it was written way before my time here began.

Then why isn't there also a "no whips" warning?

...That really depends on the situation. If we're talking about Torana baiting they'll definitely be coffee. If we're talking about Torana hating they'll definitely be a whip after me. If we're talking about Torana loving they'll definitely be a 'Crazy' surname after me. If we're talkign about Torana firing...then they'll definitely be an angry mob after me. Pick?
