Omg I have millions of them. One of my favourites has got to be Shawshank Redemption. That film is just the sex, makes me cry every time.

For a comedy, it has to be Rat Race I think. It is hilerious.

For a childrens classic, it is definatly Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the origional. Gene Wilder and his freaky hair, ow yessa. :p

Sin City is my favourite, I think it's absolutely brilliant - the effects, the way it's shot, the soundtrack, the lack of colour, the acting, it all astounds me. Also love the X-Men movies, all the Batman movies and Fantastic 4 cause I love DC comics and think they're all very well done. Brokeback Mountain also blows me away every time I see it, and both Bridget Jones movies because I find them hilarious. Chicago is another, I love the songs and the acting and all the drama. Four Weddings and a Funeral, too, because it's hilarious but also incredibly moving. LOTR series is another due to the effects, acting, plot, intensity and its brilliance :D Lastly 300 because it's so powerful and moving and riveting, and the effects are insane.

Think that's enough for now :p

Star Wars (The whole franchise, movies, games, books, comics etc rocks in my opinion. It did for Sci-fi what Lord of the Rings did for fantasy.)
Lord of the Rings of course
    V for Vendetta
    Kingdom of Heaven
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
    Shaun of the Dead
    October Sky
    Saving Private Ryan
    Blackhawk Down
Kelly's Heroes (Most people have never heard of it, but Three Kings is a modern take on the storyline which took place in WWII and the quest for Nazi Gold!)
    Band of Brothers

I just recently say this really cool movie called Equilibrium. Has anyone else seen it? I loved the themes, the characters, adn the actions equences were top notch. It screams cult classic.

The Last of the Mohicans, simply because it teachs a very important less about love and determination.
I have to agree Saving Private Ryan is really good as well as The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Some others that i enjoy are as followed:
    Braveheart
    Dragonheart
    Pearl Harbor
    Troy
    The Patriot
    Pirates of the Carribean(All three)
Ususally any movie at has to do with history and old times I really enjoy watching.

    Legend of the Fall
I Enjoy that movie but its very sad.

    The Breakfast Club
    Sixteen Candles
    St. Elmo's Fire
    Ferris Bueller's Day Off
    The Bucket List
Got to have the funny movies :p

    Those are just a few:D

Pitch Black was my favorite movie.
It was really good. I love the ideas and images in Pitch Black. Riddick was my all time favorite hero, but not hero.

American Beauty - for being beautiful
Contact - for being stunning, and having my favourite scene of all-time (on the beach :))
Casino - the best Scorsese movie, with some classic scenes
The Birdcage - my favourite comedy. I think it's faultless bar one line.
American Psycho - an excellent film to study, but so underappreciated. Thankfully, much tamer than the book. Christian Bale deserved an Oscar.
Jurassic Park - I love dinosaurs, and this movie has a creepy atmosphere throughout

Princess Mononoke is possibly the greatest Animated film in history, except for maybe Ghost in the Shell. Anything from Hayao Miyazaki is pretty good.

I liked American History X. It wasn't what I expected but it was a great film with a totally unpredictable ending. I don't like Tom Cruise, but the Last Samurai was ok.

Gladiator - best movie ever with the epic thing down to the nail, you gotta love the Elysium scene.
Pitch Black - Riddick is just too cool and unpredictable
Lord of the Rings - because it was half as good as the books
V for Vendetta - Hugo Weaving totally got into it
Saving Private Ryan - A great war movie no list is complete without it
Blackhawk Down - It kinda sounds like a videogame story but it's good
Pearl Harbor - for the planes
Pirates of the Carribean(All three) - duh!!!!!!
300 - special effects were insane.
that's all from the top of my head:)

    Gotta love Serenity :D

Exciting, witty, and a great plot- exactly the finish that Firefly deserved.

For some reason I can't think of any others, but I'm sure they'll come to me soon enough.
