Alternative to VERY.

    Oh, per..leeze!

    If an adverb is an '...ly' word - already been there and done it. :D

    Along with "very", "really" and "actually" are my biggest offences in a first draft. My editor was kind in pointing this out to me, resulting in the following cuts for the final draft of my manuscript:

    Very-before editing used 172 times; after used 39 times
    Really-before 182, after 31
    Actually-before 44, after 8
